From minor side characters and voice logs to robots and more prominent characters that have actual quests, there are a lot of diverse vocal ranges from voice actors that have appeared in other popular forms of media in Fallout 76. Here are some you’re sure to recognize.
12Gideon Emery
Gideon Emery makes a brief appearance with a more Southern flair in Fallout 76. You’ll hear him in Thomas Eckhart’s Enclave backstory audio files, which you’re able to access through various MODUS terminals and which provide somegood lore. His British comes through more in the holotape for Mock-Naval Yachting Society member Holden McMerrick, found at the Pleasant Valley cabins.
Aside from having starred as the recurring character Deucalion in the Teen Wolf series, Gideon has played some significant roles across blockbuster games. He was your combat partner, Gideon, inCall of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Scotsman Fergus Reid in theWolfensteinseries.
11Claudia Christian
If you’ve visited the area of Wavy Willard’s Water Park, you’ve probably had an encounter with a Miss Nanny bot that goes by the name of Miss Annie. She speaks with a thick French accent and asks you to search for Freddy Wood, the young boy she was looking after who got lost, initiating the Cold Case questline.

No stranger to foreign languages, Claudia Christian is well-known for playing the Russian Susan Ivanova in the 90s sci-fi series Babylon 5. Another video game credit of hers was Aela the Huntress inSkyrim, and her other TV roles include Captain Elaine Maynard in Ryan Murphy’s 9-1-1 and Hera in Netflix’s Blood of Zeus.
10Fred Tatasciore
Veteran voice actor Fred Tatasciore is featured a lot in Fallout 76. Well-known for his deep, roaring voices, he has over 900 voice-acting credits to his name. He is the voice of the Hulk in most Marvel projects, as well as DC’s Bane and Solomon Grundy. Other notable video game roles are Rhino inMarvel’s Spider-Man, Tabitha inFallout: New Vegas, and Damon Baird inGears of War.
Similar to Gideon Emery, his involvement in the main game is in the audio lore forAppalachia mining CEO Daniel Hornwright. However, the Wastelanders DLC further sees him play three new characters — Captain Fields, Dylan Rhodes, and Hal Gleeson — who all sound closely alike.
9Chris Anthony Lansdowne
Speaking of Daniel Hornwright, Chris Anthony Lansdowne voices the Motherlode, the mining robot structure he developed at Hornwright Industrial. You can also meet her in the game as ‘The Boss’ Robobrain and Dr. Bethy Mangano, a sickly ghoul field scientist who studies the properties of soil while wearing stylish pink sunglasses.
Maybe those pink sunglasses represent a symbolic nod to herBarbieroles, given she provided the voice for Barbie in games made in the late 90s and early 2000s. Chris also hosts the family-friendly Evangelical radio drama Adventures in Odyssey.
8Ray Chase
In addition to being one of three voice actors forthe tender Super Mutant traveling vendor, Grahm, Ray Chase lends his voice to a score of other characters and their audio files. Among those are former raider Ward and the more affluent and pompous Fritz from the Wastelands update.
If you’ve playedBorderlands 3orNew Tales from the Borderlands, Ray Chase voices Atlas CEO Rhys Strongfork. He also has many noteworthy credits in all sorts of anime and JRPG projects, and even contributed the voice of parasitic twin Gabriel in James Wan’s Malignant.
7Adrienne Barbeau
The Overseer is the first voice that greets you as you awaken in Vault 76. She tells you that she’s off to Appalachia on a mission, and you never really meet until the Wastelanders DLC. She is portrayed by classic sitcom star and horror film actress Adrienne Barbeau.

She played Carol Traynor in Maude, a spinoff of 70’s series All in the Family, and starred in George A. Romero’s Creepshow and Wes Craven’s Swamp Thing. She also had roles in The Fog and Escape From New York, movies made by her ex-husband, John Carpenter. Barbeau also voiced Catwoman and Martha Wayne inBatman: The Animated Series.
6Nika Futterman
The voice behind Asajj Ventress fromStar Wars: The Clone Warscan seem oddly familiar in Ava Rose, a raspy older underground dweller from Fallout 76’s Expeditions: The Pitt expansion. Ava is a pretty pious woman and is attached to a quest, From Ashes to Fire, where you collect dead prisoners' collars.
Nika Futterman also voiced the antagonistic supreme being Khan Maykr inDoom Eternal, and Dogen Boole in the firstPsychonauts. She also provides multiple voices for the animated Nickelodeon show The Loud House, and plays Cuckoo Loca in Minnie’s Bow-Toons.
5Dave Fennoy

He doesn’t have much of a prominent role in Fallout 76, as his voice was used mainly for the Super Mutants in the standard game. But he does go on to voice the harmless raider Munch, found at The Crater in the Wastelanders expansion, as well as becoming the new voice for Grahm.
4Tommie Earl Jenkins
It appears as though Tommie Earl Jenkins is jumping from one post-apocalyptic wasteland to another. He was Die-Hardman, the infamous masked security officer and close advisor to President Bridget Strand inDeath Stranding. His other video game roles includeBayonetta 3, andGotham Knightsas Jacob Kane.
As with Dave Fennoy, his presence is much smaller in Fallout 76. He voices logs of deceased characters and has two quest characters in the Wastelanders DLC, including Sargento in The Ol' Weston Shuffle. You’ll also catch Tommie Earl Jenkins as Mayor Noble Walker in Netflix’s Wednesday series.
3Jason Mewes
That’s right, Jay from the comedic duoJay and Silent Bobis in Fallout 76. He provides the voice of a friendly ghoul with a full head of hair named Mordecai McCoy. Jason Mewes has played the stoner character Jay in several movies alongside Kevin Smith’s Silent Bob, from the first Clerks in 1994 to Clerks 3 in 2022.
Jason brings a lot of the comedic spirit and vocal delivery of Jay into his role as Mort. He hilariously recalls how the impact of the nuclear disaster hit like a hurricane, turning him into the bar-frequenting ghoul he is today.
