What is Zenless Zone Zero?
Zenless Zone Zero is an action-RPG developed by HoYoverse, the creators behind the wildly popularGenshin Impact.
Set in a post-apocalyptic urban fantasy world, the game plunges players into a cityscape teeming with danger, intrigue, and dynamic combat.
In Zenless Zone Zero, players take on the role of “Proxies,” guiding a diverse cast of characters known as “Agents” through fast-paced battles against mysterious entities called “Hollows.”
Each Agent is imbued with one of five distinct zzz elements or attributes — Fire, Electric, Ice, Physical, and Ether — each bringing unique abilities and strategic elements to the table.
The game’s real-time combat system, vibrant graphics, and immersive storytelling promise a rich and engaging experience.
The 5 Zenless Zone Zero elements and their attribute anomalies
Fire
Fire element agents excel at dealing continuous damage over time, bringing chaos to their foes with explosive attacks.
Dealing fire damage to enemies accumulates the Fire Attribute Anomaly which triggers the Burn effect. The burn effect deals continuous fire damage and immobilizes organic enemies.
Electric
Electric element agents leverage speed and agility to control the battlefield, stunning and disorienting their enemies with their attacks.
Agents with this Zenless Zone Zero element can trigger the Shock effect, adding extra Electric damage and disrupting enemy actions, particularly for robotic enemies.
Ice
Ice element agents can freeze or slow down enemies, and create barriers, making them indispensable in combat.
The Shatter effect is triggered once enough Ice Attribute Anomaly is accumulated, reducing enemy mobility and dealing Ice Damage.
Moreover, it also increases the Critical Damage received by the target for a duration.
Physical
Unlike agents with other zzz elements, physical element agents rely on brute force and martial prowess.
Agents with this attribute excel in dealing direct, massive damage and breaking through enemy defenses.
Their abilities induce the Assault effect, interrupting enemy actions and dealing massive Physical Damage. It also increases the Daze the target takes for a duration.
Ether
Similar to agents with other Zenless Zone Zero elements, ether element agents have tremendous combat utility, both able to deal damage or provide support.
Once they accumulate the Ether Attribute Anomaly, they trigger the Corruption effect, which increases the damage targets take and can interrupt energy-based enemies.
