Approaching the game more effectively and avoiding rookie mistakes can be key to success, but it can often be hard to find your own way without guidance. These tips and tricks for surviving and thriving will help you hit the ground running in Atrio: The Dark Wild.

Collect All Happy Employee Support Packages

It is in your best interest to collect all theHappy Employee Support Packagesas soon as possible, as they will provide you with Research Packs, Research Upgrade Chips, Small Health Packs, and most importantly Picker Pals. The more Picker Pals you have, the faster you can collect raw materialsand be more productive.

There are five supply packs acrossStations One and Two, and six supply packs inStations Three and Four.

After finishing the packs in Station Two – where you spawn — the best thing to do is tomove on to Stations Three and Four. The reason for this is that with these Stations' packs, you can easilyget the itemsyou desperately need for the early game.

Avoid Overloading Your Factory

Sometimes your automation system can produce more items than it should, and your Grav Pipes can be overfilled with items. In automation games like Atrio: The Dark Wild this is considered a wastage, asyour Factories should be producing nonstopwithout craft ingredients to stack on top of one another.

In such cases, you shoulduse the Pushback Splitter animal. This allows you to split every second item on the Grav Pipe. In this way, you may store the excess amount of items in a chest, or you can connect them straight to another Factory system.

Stack Picker Pals

One of the biggest mistakes beginners make isonly using one Picker Pal for each field. However, it will be your benefit to use more than one Picker Pal for collecting materials faster. This is because the robot harvests three items from the field before turning back to Picker Pal Situation to deliver them, slowing the whole process.

You shouldkeep your Picker Pals in the same areawhere possible, so that they sweep that area faster. There will also be no unnecessary Grav Pipelines that connect to one another from different fields.

Use Spring Boards More Often

Spring Boards are more useful than you think becausethey make your automation systems look tidier. Sometimes it’s hard to understand where an item comes from and where it goes, but it’s better than having Grav Pipes everywhere.

For example, each Planter requires a Water Pump, so instead of a system that collects water from each Water Pump and brings water to each Planter in a row, you canchoose a system that shoots water directly to the Planterin front of it with a Spring Board.

Place Bee Boxes On Your Mushroom Farm

Honey is essential in finishing the story, as you need to craft 99 Survival Packs — which require Honey to make. So, before making a dedicated bee farm, placing Bee Boxes near the Plantershas its advantages.

One key benefit is that thebees automatically plant seeds in your Planters. It’s also a good idea to collect honey for use in the late game, too, as you will need to farm vegetables like Soybeans, Potatoes, and Cabbages. you’re able to place Bee Boxes the same way you did with Mushroom farms, as bees can also gather nectar from these vegetables.

Loot The Map

Many of you may not realize that the world of Atrio: The Dark Wild is full of loot. As soon as you have a decent fuel source, and have researched Rechargeable Torch, explore the map and collect abandoned items, such as Factories, Scrap Chests, Ore Harvesters, and Picker Pals. Doing this will cause your efficiency to skyrocket, especially in the early game.

Make A Trash Can

Have you ever wondered what to do with unwanted items? There is a hole that can be used as a trash can. You’ll find it near Station Two.

Head toward theleft corner of the screento find this location. It is unknown where the items thrown here go, but it certainly solves the problem of junk items.

Cheese The Happy Employee Support Packages

If you are a fan of cheesing and exploiting game bugs, then this is the tip for you. To make this thing work you should craft a bunch of Factories and surround yourself with them, making sure you are able to reach the supply pod.

After you’ve adequately surrounded yourself, you may start the timer — none of theenemy creatures will be able to reach you. Lastly, make sure you bring some Smoke Bombs for the bees.
