Unbeknownst to Narah and Ash, Sakuya managed to locate and track the duo. Through a covert listening device, a shocking truth was revealed: Ash was innocent of her father’s murder and, in fact, had been adopted by the revered Noland. Sakuya’s view of Ash changed in that very moment.

As a consequence, Walther Lindstedt, a seasoned and loyal knight, was assigned to guard Sakura. Ironically, during his vigil, Walter’s keen observation skills led him to recognize the empress as a Kagemusha – a skilled impersonator used as a political decoy.
