How To Get Souls
Every crafting recipe for Necromancyrequires a Soul as a base material.Souls are typically gained as loot after a successful battle, but the starting probability of an individual unit dropping one is fairly low.
At the start of the game, the best way to collect Souls is toattack enemies with your starting unit of Necromancer Minions. This unit can inflict the Soul Caged status, which guarantees a successful Soul harvest as long as you win the fight.
Later in the game, upgrades to your tower and spells from the Necromancy page of your Grimoirewill make it easier to harvest Souls.
Souls arethe same tier as the unit that dropped them, indicated by the Roman numeral on the item’s icon in your inventory. A Soul can createany craftable unit of the same tier or lower, provided that you have sufficient materials. Most Souls also provide an ability to the unit created from them, allowing you to customize your army.

All Necromancy Recipes
There are twenty units in total that can be crafted through Necromancy, from lowly Ghouls to mighty Vampires. The unit created isbased on the Soul used and the combined Essence of all the ingredients.
Unlike Alchemy and Artificing, Necromancy has one additional rule to its crafting system; the final Essence totalmust not include any Life Essence.Life and Death Essences cancel each other out, so for most Souls you’ll need toinvest materials with plenty of Death Essenceto negate those pesky green dots!
Lots of Necromancy units can exploit Bleeding, but few can inflict it. Orc Javelineers can inflict Bleeding with their attacks, so attempt to recruit them as support!
