Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction (DDDD) is an anime adaptation of a critically acclaimed manga by Inio Asano (known for his work on Goodnight Punpun). The original manga ran from 2014 to 2022 and has sold over 3 million copies worldwide.

The story follows two high school best friends, Kadode Koyama and Oran “Ontan” Nakagawa, living in a world forever changed by the arrival of a mysterious alien spaceship.

The anime is produced by Production +h., known for The Orbital Children, and directed by Tomoyuki Kurokawa, who worked on the popular Psycho-Pass series.
