Elden Ring Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation locations, uses, NPC choices and rewards
An item that decides the fate of two NPCs!

For players who don’t know, the Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation are two key items and consumables in Elden Ring that play a vital role in deciding what rewards you get from NPC Jolan and Fire Knight Queelign at the end of their quest.
In this guide, we share the location of the Elden Ring Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and all NPC choices associated with them.
Elden Ring Iris of Grace locations
In Elden Ring, you can find Iris of Grace in front of a stone desk in a corridor in the Specimen Storehouse area.
To reach there, teleport to the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace and stick to the left side while moving straight.
You will come across an elevator that you must take to descend into the lower levels of the Specimen Storehouse. Once off the elevator, follow the path on the right side and keep moving.
At the end of the room, turn left, use the stairs to head down and then turn left again and once more as soon as you enter the infirmary-like area full of Pot experiment enemies.
Right before the giant innard experimental creature, you will find the Iris of Grace.
That aside, you can find another before Marika’s Statue near the Tree Worship Sanctum Site of Grace.
Elden Ring Iris of Occultation locations
You can get Iris of Occultation by defeating the Lesser Omenkiller at the lower section of Fort of Reprimand in the Scadu Altus region of the Realm of Shadows.
To reach there, from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace, stick to the right side and follow the main path. Soon, you will reach Fort of Reprimand.
Once you enter the Fort, either defeat the Lesser Omenkiller in the courtyard or take a left and drop down the hole. Right around the edge, the other horned enemy is present, whom you must defeat to obtain the Iris of Occultation.
Another Iris of Occultation is obtained after defeating the Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirit that spawns after you clear the water in the Church District.
Elden Ring Iris of Grace and Iris of Occultation uses
Both are consumable items in Elden Ring that you can consume to receive the blessing of an equipped Great Rune, just like a Rune Arc, though we don’t recommend consuming it as it is required in a few NPC questlines.

Both items are associated with two NPC questlines: Fire Knight Queelign and Jolan.
Which one should you choose?
As we mentioned earlier, the Iris of Grace can be used to obtain the Spirit Ash of Fire Knight Queenlign and Jolan. While the Swordhand of Night Jolan Spirit Ash can be transformed into an upgraded version by ushering Anna, another Sword Hand, the overall effectiveness of the Spirt Ash is ok.
Existing Spirit Ash like Black Knife Tiche and Mimic Tear are still some of the best Spirit Ash to use in the game.
On the other hand, if you give Occultation to Jolan and Fire Knight Queelign, you get their weapons, which we think is a far better choice than the Spirit Ash.
However, the choice depends on you and your needs. While deciding between Iris of Grace or Iris of Occultation for Fire Knight Queelign is easy, for Jolan, players might get tempted to go for Swordhand of Night Jolan Spirit Ash to usher Anna so both of them can be together.
