How To Donate

The donation system is unlocked shortly after meeting up with Alfred in Firene. Moredonation regions will be unlocked as you progress through the storyand meet the rest of the cities. To donate, interact with theBulletin Board at the Cafe Terracein the Somniel. This is the same place you go to check your achievements.

For each of the four kingdoms, there arefive donation levels. Each donation level increases the chances of Gold and Silver Corrupted Skirmishes appearing in that region, the amount of resources you get after completing a mission (in the exploration segment), and grants a bundle of one-time rewards, like resources and new weapons. Below, you can find a list of everything that changes with each donation level, for each kingdom.

At donation level two, you will gain the ability to tame Solmic Cat, Panna Camel, and Tartu Flamingo, found in Solm after battles.

Is Donating Worth It?

Donating can be expensive, especially at higher levels. Due to the scarcity of gold, you may be wondering if upgrading your donation levels is even worth it. Below, we’ll take a look at a few factors to help you decide.

For the early levels, donating is definitely worth it. The cost to go tolevels two and threeisn’t very high, and the extra resources you gain are enough to warrant the investment. However, levels four and five are much more costly, making them a bit out of reach for most of the game. It’s entirely possible that you won’t even make enough money in an entire playthrough to upgrade more than one region to level five.

However, this changes if you areactively farming Gold, using Anna’s exclusive abilityMake a Killing, or by repeatedly battling Skirmishes. In this case, when you can get enough Gold to cover the donation cost, it’sworth it for the drastically increased extra resources.

If you can only choose one region to donate to, pick eitherBrodia or Elusia. Upgrading Brodia will providemore of the game’s most important resources, ore, whileElusia will increase the chance of Gold Corrupted Skirmishes appearing, making it easier togather more Gold, which you can then use for weapon upgrading or donating. Alternatively, Solm can be a good choice in place of either, as this willincrease the chance of Silver Corrupted Skirmishes appearing, which drop an increased amount of experience points and SP.
