‘For the Worthy’ is a secret seed that will increase the difficulty of your world. This is a relatively newer seed, first introduced in 2020. Here, we are going to take a look at everything you need to know about this seed. First, let’s look at how to generate a For the Worthy world while playing Terraria.

11World Seed

The seed for this world is quite simple; it’s just the name of the world. Below, you can check out the exact words you need to type in

This is case-sensitive, so be sure to not use upper-case letters while typing in the seed! Once the seed has been entered and your world is loading, the loading screen will appear backward. The text above the loading bar as well as the tip below it will be reversed and difficult to read.

10World Difficulty

In a For the Worthy world, the difficulty will be increased by one. This means that if you are playing in Expert mode, your game will actually be in Master mode. This simple change will prove to be quite a challenge.

If you are a seasoned Terraria veteran and choose to play on Master mode, the difficulty will increase to Legendary. This is a new mode for this seed that is ridiculously hard.

9Demolitionist Guide

At the start of a new world in Terraria, the Guide will be at your side. Together, the two of you fend off against enemies; you can make him a little house for safety, and he will provide occasional tips. In For the Worthy, the guide won’t be there.

Instead, this NPC is replaced by the Demolitionist. This is an NPC that prefers living underground and will sell you a variety of bombs. Unlike the Guide, the Demolitionist will not automatically respawn when he dies. In order to respawn, you will need to have at least one explosive in either your inventory or storage. This means that he can die instantly before you acquire any explosives.

8Stronger Enemies

Overall, all enemies will be stronger. Enemy HP and attack power will increase, making them quite beefy. This increase is applied to the base stats of an enemy.

Let’s look at a zombie for example. The base HP and attack of this zombie will increase, which is then multiplied by the world difficulty. Additionally, this total will be increased again by 33 percent. It’s a lot of multiplying but overall, just know that enemies are hard and totally capable of instantly killing you.

7Boss Variation

In a difficult world, it makes sense that the bosses will have some variation. In general, bosses will have size differences. For example, the Queen Bee will be even bigger, while the Wall of Flesh will be smaller. Regardless of size, most bosses will also have the increased HP and damage as mentioned above.

The Moon Lord’s damage is unchanged from a normal world.

In addition to size variation, bosses will have different mechanics. This will make each boss a bit more unique, especially if you have defeated them several times before. It’s worth noting that Skeletron Prime will now fire real bombs that can damage blocks in the area.

6More Lava

Lava is present in every Terraria world, but it becomes a bit more common as you head deeper underground. This means that in the underground section on the top half of the map, you won’t find too many lava lakes.

In a For the Worthy world, there is a change that lava pools replace water pools. If you are digging straight down, there may be a lava pool waiting to burn you to a crisp!

5Exploding Bunnies

Terraria bunnies are cute, right? Well, in a For the Worthy world, bunnies will now explode. Instead of simple bunnies hopping around the world, they will have explosives strapped to their side.

When an explosive bunny dies, it won’t destroy any tiles in the area. The bunny will just deal damage to all nearby. If you release any other bunny types in the world, they will automatically become explosive bunnies.

4Bombs Everywhere

Speaking of explosives, there are bombs pretty much everywhere in a For the Worthy world. For example, when you destroy pots, there is a 25 percent chance that a lit bomb will drop instead of the contents of the pot.

Additionally, trees have a chance to drop lit bombs when you shake them. Typically, when you do this, leaves will fall, along with acorns and seeds. Now, you will need to watch for falling bombs.

3Red Potions

The Red Potion is a unique item that isn’t present in a normal world. In a For the Worthy world, chests will have a ten percent chance to hold a Red Potion. When you drink the potion, you will gain three random buffs.

The Red Potion’s description is “only for those who are worthy”, giving this seed its name.

This can be quite helpful, especially if you randomly get buffs like Swiftness, Lifeforce, and Endurance. The buffs will each last for 30 minutes. The three buffs are not dependent on each other, so it’s possible to get the same debuff twice. This gives you just two debuffs rather than three.

2Voodoo Demons

Voodoo Demons are dangerous enemies that can be found in the underworld. These are flying demons that carry a voodoo doll of the Guide, and shoot damage-dealing purple rings. They aren’t too common, but in For the Worthy, they will appear more often.

Now, Voodoo Demons will replace a majority of normal demons that you come across. Although you may find it easy to take on one Voodoo Demon, a hoard of them can be a nuisance due to the purple rings that they fire.
