On July 17, 2025, McDonald’s conjured up a spellbinding campaign fit for any Special Grade sorcerer. JJK, the2024 anime of the year, is invading McDonald’s menu with a new set of sauces inspired by famous characters of the manga and anime series.

Jujutsu Kaisen x McDonald’s collaboration heats up Special Grade Garlic Sauce arrives

The highly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen x McDonald’s collaboration officially kicked off with a social media tease by McDonald’s on June 08, 2025, with acryptic tweetreferencing “Something SPECIALZ coming.”

JJK fans quickly cracked the code, recognizing the reference to King Gnu’s SPECIALZ song, the opening theme in the second half of JJK season 2, after the Hidden Inventory arc.

Just a few hours later, McDonald’s confirmed the collaboration by unveiling a poster featuring prominent JJK characters:Ryomen Sukuna,Satoru Gojo,Kento Nanami, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki.

It announced the arrival of a “Special Grade Garlic Sauce” on June 12, 2025, available exclusively through theMcDonald’s app.

The limited-edition sauce is named after the Special Grade classification given to the strongest JJK and Curses within the JJK universe.

Further amping up the excitement, McDonald’s released individual images of the Special Grade Garlic Sauce packaging. Each packet features a different JJK character, including villains like Mahito andSuguru Geto.
