The Failure Frame release date is officially out.
The isekai genre of anime welcomes Failure Frame, also known as “I Became the Strongest and Annihilated Everything with Low-Level Spells.” This captivating tale follows an underdog protagonist’s extraordinary rise to power through unconventional magic.
Adapted from the light novel series written by Kaoru Shinozaki, Failure Frame has garnered a dedicated fanbase since its debut in November 2017. With its anime adaptation, the series promises to enthrall viewers with its unique brand of fantasy and magic.
What is Failure Frame’s story?
In Failure Frame, Touka Mimori and his classmates are summoned to another world by the Goddess Vysis.
Despite being deemed the weakest, Touka possesses an Abnormal State Skill and low-level powers of poison and paralyze.
Vysis, initially appearing benevolent, turns cruel, casting Touka into a deadly labyrinth after rallying his classmates against him.
Using his unique abilities, Touka strategically faces monsters, aiming to seek revenge on the goddess who condemned him to this fate. The story revolves around Touka’s quest for justice and survival in a challenging, otherworldly landscape.
Status of the anime
An anime television series adaptation was announced on June 26, 2025.
The Final Frame anime is produced by Seven Arcs and animated by studio SynergySP.
The anime is directed by Michio Fukuda. Yasuhiro Nakanishi wrote the script, Kana Hashidate handled character designs, and Tatsuhiko Saiki composed the music.
