Natlan characters are igniting excitement amongGenshin Impactplayers as the Pyro nation opens its gates.
As one of Teyvat’s seven regions, Natlan is primarily known as the nation of war. Its fiery spirit is mirrored in its landscape, which is characterized by volcanic terrain.
Imagine a world sculpted by molten rock, with towering mountains, active volcanoes, and vast fields of hardened lava.
While the nation’s Pyro Archon is a central figure, Genshin Impact version 5.0 promises to introduce a diverse cast of Natlan characters beyond the divine.
From Mavuika to Xilonen, get ready to meet the 10 Natlan characters shaping the story of this nation.
Ajaw
Voice actors: Abby Espiritu (EN), Junko Takeuchi (JP)
“Almighty Dragonlord (Self-Proclaimed)” K’uhul Ajaw is a non-playable character in Genshin.
He is Kinich’s trusted dragon companion, appearing otherworldly with his 8-bit form and sporting sunglasses. Similar to Paimon, he is capable of flight.
Chasca

Chasca is a striking addition to the Natlan character lineup, with red hair, a distinctive hat, and a bandana around her neck.
Known as the Skyborne Arbiter, she is a Peacemaker of the Flower-Feather Clan.
In the Ignition teaser, she appears to have a close relationship with another character, as she is seen talking to herself, speculating if “she” is watching.
Citlali

If you’re a fan of pink-haired characters, Citlali definitely catches your eye.
She is a fortune teller from the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe and is close friends with Mualani.
Citlali exhibits an anti-social demeanor, opting out of the tournament and bluntly telling other Genshin Natlan characters to leave her alone.
Iansan

The very first Natlan character we ever saw is Iansan, introduced in theTeyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail.
In the video, Iansan is depicted creating a hole in the ground by stepping on it and appears to be wielding the power of Pyro.
Kachina

In theNatlan preview teaser video, Kachina is one of the initial characters introduced. She’s a mischievous child with animal ears resembling those of fennec foxes, native to the deserts of North Africa.
Additionally, Kachina can summon a compact vehicle that she uses to explore Natlan and the rest of Teyvat.
Kinich

Kinich is a standout character among Genshin Natlan characters.
He is a Saurian Hunter from the Scions of the Canopy.
In the Natlan preview teaser, he is depicted sleeping in treetops and appears to possess the ability to levitate.
Mavuika

Mavuika plays a crucial role as one of the key Genshin Natlan characters in Act V of the Archon quest. She oversees the tournament in Natlan, urging participants to embrace their competitive spirits.
Additionally, the Ignition teaser suggests a mysterious connection between Mavuika and Il Capitano, one of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.
Mualani

Mualani appears in theIgnition Teaser: A Name Forged in Flames video, where she briefly interacts with Kachina. Together, they initiate the tournament by throwing a ball.
Among Genshin Natlan characters, Mualani is known for her distinctive ability to surf above the water on a small shark.
Ororon

Keen-eyed fans noticed Ororon, a mysterious character standing next to Il Capitano in the Ignition teaser.
He hails from the Masters of the Night Wind tribe and is the mentee of the fortune-teller Citlali.
He possesses animal ears and numerous tattoos on his arms.
Xilonen

Xilonen shares many similarities with other Genshin Natlan characters. Like Kinich, she enjoys sleeping in treetops, and similar to Kachina, she has animal ears. Her ears, tail, and overall design are inspired by ocelots.
