When the first Goat Simulator launched, it was a silly game that got a lot of attention for its many ridiculous references and antics that a simple goat unleash on a small open world. WithGoat Simulator 3, Coffee Stain Studios has polished its gameplay and expanded the open world.

The game has a ton of depth, with many different events available for you to partake in that involve putting the goat in absurd situations. There is also a ton of customization, with different outfits and even different animals to play as. Goat Simulator 3 is a clear upgrade on the original, but there are some things that could make it even better.
7Enable Equipping Two Of The Same Type Of Wardrobe Item
One of the more hilarious aspects of the original Goat Simulator was being able to run into any situation, pick up an ability, and then keep that ability even when you picked up another. There is some semblance to this in Goat Simulator 3, with goats able to equip headgear, an outfit, shoes, andmore customizations.
However, unlike the original, you are unable to layer your wardrobe. This means that if you have two pieces of headgear that you want to use, you may only choose one at a time. It is understandable that the developers may not have wanted to break the game in this way, but it would certainly add to the chaos that is the Goat Simulator world.
6Let Other Goats Wear Outfits
It is weird playing a game called Goat Simulator and assuming control of other animals, even if they are still referred to as goats. You can take control of animals like pigs, giraffes, rhinos, and sharks, and even a couple of different humans. When it comes to some of these goats though, the cosmetics begin to get limited.
While you can wear several cosmetics on certain animals, outfits are generally not able to be equipped. This could be because the goat is the only one that can fit into it, but either way, it feels like something that could’ve been figured out.
5Option To Turn Off The Tornado
In one funny event that is available in one of the early areas of Goat Simulator 3, there is a stage on which three ballerinas are performing. If you approach each ballerina and headbutt them, they will begin to spin out of control. This leadsto a tornadothat begins wreaking havoc upon the entire map.
But unlike other events, this twister never goes away. Even if you log out, the tornado becomes a permanent part of the map and can at times interfere with missions you are looking to get done. While it isn’t the most intrusive feature in the world, it would be nice to have the option to turn off the tornado, even if it is for a small amount of time.
4Stop Humans From Stealing Your Vehicle
One of the more out there new features in Goat Simulator 3 is the ability for the goat to drive around the map. This is actually a fantastic addition, as it makes the game feel likeGrand Theft Autoonly withbarnyard animalstaking over. The goat is able to hijack pretty much any vehicle on the map.

Unfortunately, the car can be stolen right back. Even a car you have for an extended period of time, humans can hop in and begin to drive away with it whether you are still in the car or not. It would be nice to be able to hold on to a vehicle for an extended period of time, even if cars are generally easy to come by.
3Have Multiple Ability Buttons
The different aspects of the goat’s wardrobe can come with some powers. These abilities include improving movement around the map to unleashing objects from the piece of the outfit itself. It is perfect that these can be equipped at any time. It just would be nice to have more buttonson the controllerfor different abilities.
For instance, take having the taco shoes and the spray paint hat. When you go to spray paint a building, you will be instead lifted off the ground, and you will be pushed away from the original place you wanted to put some art. It would be nice if we could configure each outfit part having its own button.
2Allow More Customization Of The Castle
Throughout the game, the main goal for the goat is to complete events and perform various activities to build up and expand the Goat Castle, an indoor facility that you can visit regularly and which has a giant door blocking the way to the game’s final chapter.
The castlecan be decoratedin some ways, such as changing specific statues and trees throughout the building. However, it would be nice to have even more customization. This could include changing the goats that bow to you in the main hall, or even changing the look of the castle architecture itself.
1Scrap The End Sequence
Goat Simulator 3 implementsan actual story modefor the first time, complete with an end sequence that occurs once you enter through the big door in the Goat Castle. The end includes confronting The Farmer, the man who drove you into the farm at the start of the game.
The whole sequence is bizarre, much like the rest of the game, but it just doesn’t feel like it fits in. Goat Simulator 3 is about going around a town and messing with it at your own pace, and the chaos of the final scenes feels more forced than spontaneous. And all you get in the end is the ability to play as the Farmer, which just feels unnecessary to the final product.
