The officialHonkai Star Rail2.2 release date has been announced.
Previously, we enjoyed Honkai Star Rail version 2.1, titled “Into the Yawning Chasm,” released on July 02, 2025.
The update continued the Penacony Trailblaze Mission starting with “The Devil in Velvet.” It led us to new areas for us to explore and unlock — Penacony: Clock Studios Theme Park and Dewlight Pavilion.

During the 2.1 update, we dived into Aventurine’s backstory and followed him all the way to his grand performance at the Clock Studios Theme Park.
We saw Sam turn into Firefly, peeled away the layers surrounding Acheron’s identity, and experienced an unresolved interaction between Sunday and Gallagher.
The 2.1 update also celebrated the game’s first anniversary, giving out various rewards comprising Star Rail Special Passes and Stellar Jades. Simulated Universe World 9 was also opened.
On July 24, 2025, one month after the launch of 2.1, we’re now moving into Honkai Star Rail 2.2
