Daring Gigasattacks in a pattern, but you’ll find that a lot of its time is spentpowering up to attack. Regardless of the time it takes to boost itself, Daring Gigas attacks in the following order in P4G:
Power Charge > Rebellion > Tarukaja > Single Shot
While Single Shot innately only does light damage, after two boosts and an increase to its crit rate, you need tobe careful when it attacks.
If you know the Single Shot is up next, it’s wise tohave the party guard before Single Shot, as this will minimize the damage absorbed from this super-powered move.
This is unless Yu has a Persona thatresists physical damage. If physical attacks won’t hurt him, you’re free tokeep on the offensivefor that turn without worry.
And with Daring Gigas not having any weaknesses, it doesn’t matter much what said Persona’smain elemental magicis – as long as it’snot light or dark.
Additionally, using the moveSukundawill boost the user’s evasion, making it harder for Daring Gigas to land a hit.
While you’re on the offensive against Daring Gigas in P4G, be wary of using physical moves yourself.Countermay only have a ten percent chance of repelling the attack, but you don’t want to take any more damage than necessary.
Therefore, it’s wise to justavoid physical attacksaltogether. It’s a small chance, sure, but it’s not one you can really afford to take halfway through a dungeon.
From there, it’s simply a matter of avoiding taking damage wherever possible, while using your turn to inflict it on Daring Gigas in exchange.
