There are tons of interesting sights and sounds in the world ofSable, but they’re more than just set dressing. One such place is theGeyser Towers- a collection of towering rocks that host geysers shooting into the air. This monument is stunning, but you’ll want to explore further if you want to claim and complete the’Riding The Wave' quest.

‘Riding The Wave’ will require a lot of stamina to complete and some good climbing skills since you’ll be traversing up vertical terrain. The reward for completing this quest is a climbing badge that can be used to unlock the climbing mask.
How To Start Riding The Wave
‘Riding The Wave’ can be found in theSodic Wasteregion of the map. The Geyser Towers are on the South side of the region, past the spaceship graveyard. You’ll be able to spot it from pretty far away since the geysers emit lots of bubbles that are visible from afar.
Once you reach the towers, you’ll be able to find an encampment in the clearing in the middle. You shouldn’t struggle to find it, no matter what direction you approach the towers from. Here you’ll findHunter Zebi- talk to him to initiate the quest. He’ll ask you to help his friendDilhan, who is waiting at the top of the towers.
How To Reach Dilhan
You’ll need lots of stamina to properly climb the towers, but if you’re not quite there yet, you should be using the geysers to propel you into the air.
From the camp,crawl through the hole in the wallaround the corner pictured above. Climb the wall to the right, and you’ll find your first geyser. Ride the geyser to the floor above. Once you’re here, take the first right turn, and you’ll find another geyser to ride. When you’re at the highest point, begin to glide to slow down your descent.
Look for a brokengreen bridgeand land on either side of it. Crawl through the hole behind the mini shrine, and you’ll find another geyser. After riding this geyser, you should seealit campfire with Dilhan beside it. Dilhan wants a particularbird’s eggs, and he needs your help to scare it away from the highest point on the towers.
Scaring The Bird With The Shiny Mask
Dilhan will tell you that the bird will only be scared away by ashiny mask. Of course, there is no ‘shiny mask’ in Sable, so you’ll need to use the next best thing.The Machinist’s Mask and the Whale Ship’s Maskshould both work. Equip either of them, if you have them, and begin the rest of your climb.
LookWest from Dilhan’s campfire. You should be able to see another geyser atop one of the rock towers. Glide to this tower and ride the wave, one last time. This will give you enough height to reach the foot of the bird’s nest. As long as you have enough stamina, you’ll be able to climb to the bird’s nest, scare it away, and steal its eggs.
Return them to Dilhan and then talk to Zebi to receive yourClimber’s Badge.
