When it comes to combat inRobloxProject New World, every player has a choice between being a fruit main or a sword main. You can upgrade a particular stat between these two depending on your choice. Apart from these, the game also has a bunch of special abilities that you can unlock through different means.

These abilities have their own level, and they don’t get any buffs from your stats. All the unlocked skills are located on the right side of your screen, and you can use these to help you both in and out of combat.
How To Get Sky Walk
Sky Walk is the first ability that you’ll interact with as soon as you get into Project New World.Even if you’re playing the game, you’ll already have one stack of Sky Walk. This ability allows you to jump over and over again while you’re in midair, and the number of jumps depends on the number of Sky Walks you have.
Once you’ve used a stack of Sky Walk,it only regenerates if your player touches the ground or water. This means that you may’t constantly keep jumping and refreshing stacks midair.
While you’ll only have one Sky Walk as a new player, you may go to the correct place and find an NPC to increase its level. To start your journey toward this place, head to the Starter Island andyou’ll find an NPC who’s fishing near the level ten enemies in this area. This NPC will tell you that someone in the rock structures can train your Sky Walk.
Pay attention to the direction this NPC is looking, and you’ll find a bunch of tall rock structures in that direction. Take your boat to the location and find the structure with a tree on it, as shown in the picture above.
Upon finding the required structure, circle around it and keep your eyes peeled at the bottom. On one side, you’ll find a tiny gap in the middle that will let you go inside the rock. When you go in, look up and you’ll see a bunch of platforms blocking your view. You have to use your Skywalk and get to the top of these platforms.
At the top, you’ll find the Sky Walk trainer called Black Leg. You can unlock different levels of Sky Walk from him based on your current level:
1
20,000
3
2
500
100,000
5
1000
200,000
7
The maximum Sky Walk you’re able to get from upgrading it at Black Leg is seven. Although, certain raceslike D. Clan and Lunarian allow you to have one extra Sky Walk, increasing the maximum possible Sky Walks to eight.
How To Get Flash Step
Flash Step is the most useful ability when it comes to mobility in Project New World. It allows you to teleport at a location within a certain radius instantly, as far as you’re aiming at the right spot with your cursor. You might have a little hard time aiming correctly with this ability in the beginning.
The best way to use Flash Step is by jumping high in the airso that you can easily aim at the point that you want to teleport to on the ground. Other than that, PC players can also put their cursor at the location where they want to teleport.
To unlock the first level of Flash Step, you have to head to Clown Island, which has level 40 written on top of it on the map. Once you’re on the island, head to the group of houses on the right side when you’re looking directly at the building with the main boss of this area. In this group, you’ll be able to locate the Flash Step Trainer.
The second level of Flash Step is a long way away if you’re new to the game. You can find the level two trainer on Three Islands, which has a minimum level of 700. This island is located between Marine Base Town and Marine HQ. The trainer is standing on one of the structures in the middle of this island.
You need to beat least level 600 and have $75,000 Beli if you want to unlock the second level. Moreover, the Three Islands can be quite annoying to navigate unless you have a fruit that gives you flight. With the second level, you may cover a larger area while teleporting, and the cooldown is also two seconds less.
How To Get Observation Haki
Observation Haki can prove to beone of the best skills when it comes to survival during combat. When you activate this skill, it changes the color of your screen a little, and you can see the number of dodges on top of your character. As far as you have one or more dodges, the enemy will not be able to deal any damage to you.
Each attack that is nullified with this ability takes away one stack, and it takes quite a lot of time for them to regenerate. If you can time the skill well, it will prevent you from dying to a horde of enemies, or other players during PvP.
There are some Devil Fruits that have a Logia effect. This effect prevents you from taking damage from lower-level mobs and enemy players who don’t have Buso, but bosses and superbosses still damage you. This skill is the only way to prevent their damage.
Currently, there isonly one level of Observation Haki that can be unlocked once you reach Marine Base Town island. This island has a level 600 written above it on the map. Once you get to the island, you can find the required NPC right beside the place where you set the spawn on the left side.
After unlocking this skill, you’ll get three dodges when you activate the skill. Although, races like D. Clan can increase this up to four.
How To Get Buso Haki
If you’re a relatively new player in Project New World, there might be times when you’ve tried to attack another player, but you can’t deal any damage to them with your sword. This is because the opponent has a Logia Devil Fruit, and swords can’t deal damage to them without the Buso skill.
This problem doesn’t stop at enemy players. Some bosses on higher-level islands also have the Logia effect, and you won’t be able to deal any damage to these bosses with your sword unless you have Buso.Although, you may still attack Logia players and bosses with fruit.
To unlock Buso Haki for the first time, you need to be level 350 and have $100,000 Beli on your character. Once you fulfill these requirements, head over to Logue City and go to the house on the top of this island. This house is located near the place where Dual Swordsman spawns.
The second level of Buso Haki is quite hard to unlocksince it requires level 1150 and $250,000 Beli. Although, it won’t be hard to earn that Beli once you reach that level. Head to the Revolutionary Island with level 1150 written above it, and you’ll find the Buso trainer in a little cave at the back side, as shown in the picture above.
The second level increases the bonus damage from your Sword and Combat.
How To Get Conquerors Haki
Conquerors Haki is the hardest skill to get in Project New World because you can’t get it in the open world. The only way to get this skill is by landing the D. Clan race. You can spin races on the first screen when you start playing the game, but you only have a 0.1 percent chance of getting D. Clan.
Once you have this skill, you can activate it todeal massive damage to enemies in a large area and put them to sleep for quite some time. Although, the sleep effect will not be applied to superbosses.
