What Are Fishing Vessels in World of Warcraft?

For those that aren’t exactly sure what fishing vessels are, they’re items that allow you to essentially mount-up on water. You may be familiar with howyou cannot fish unless you’re standing on land,Yet some fishing pools may be just out of reach depending on where you are.

To make this easier, and to save you time swimming or flying to various areas, you can find fishing vessels to help. For example, theTuskarr Dinghyis a boat you can use tofish from anywhere on the water. There’s also spells and potions that can help to improve your fishing experience.

Angler’s Fishing Raft

The Angler’s Fishing Raftis a toy that allows you to raft across water. When used, you’ll get a buff so that when you walk into water, you’ll mount a raft instead of swimming.You can buy this item from renowned fisherman, Nat Pagel. To find him, head to Pandaria. You’ll seeAngler’s Wharf on the Krasarang Wilds map, where you can purchase theAngler’s Fishing Raftfrom him.

In Stormwind and Orgrimmar, you can use aportal to the Jade Forest and fly over to Angler’s Wharf.You will need to be Revered with The Anglers reputation to purchase the raft.

Despite the in-game item text,you can use the raft on other characters that do not have Revered reputationwith The Anglers.

The Anglers Reputation Guide

If you haven’t done The Anglers reputation yet, you can start by heading toAngler’s Wharf and picking up the daily quests. These daily quests will not be visible if you haven’t learned fishing. You can learn fishing by speaking withNat Pagel, sitting in a small boat next to the boardwalk.

Altogether, there are 14 different daily quests that will be on a random rotation. However, you’ll only be able to complete three daily quests per day.

Each of these fish can becaught once a day, so they each are another daily quest you can complete.

Pandaria Timewalking

Got plenty ofTimewarped Badgesto spare? A somewhatfasterway to boost your reputation forThe Anglersis during thePandaria Timewalking Events. Check yourin-game calendarto see when these take place.

During these events, you may find the vendorMistweaver Xia to the west of Mossgreen Lake on the Timeless Isle.You can purchaseCommendation of The Anglers from her for 50 Timewarped Badges. These items give you 300 reputation with The Anglers. Buy as many as you need to hit Revered, or you can even go all the way to Exalted.

Tuskarr Dinghy

This fishing vessel is essentially the same concept as the Angler’s Fishing Raft. It is a toy that gives you a buff so that when you walk into water, you’llmount a boat instead of swimming. You can fish from the Tuskarr Dinghy, making it an essential for anglers.

The Tuskarr Dinghy is a reward for the achievementRiver Rapids Wrangler. This achievement requires you to collect 40 fish during one session ofRuriq’s River Rapids Ride. To be able to use this ride, you have to complete a quest chain.

Start by finding Ruriq, a male Tuskarr, and beginning the questsMammoths Matter and Culling the Cullers.They can be foundnorth-east of the Azure Archivesin the Azure Span (Coordinates: 44.50). For this quest chain, you’ll help Rariq, and you’ll need to complete quests for his brother, Kauj, too. The quests are as follows:

If you fail to catch 40 fish on your first try, talk to Ruriq and he will teleport you back to the starting point to try again. Don’t forget to look back if you miss any fish asyou can still throw nets behind you.
