Before he’ll speak to you, the male protagonist must have reachedRank 4 Charm.
Female Protagonist
Since your Hermit social link is withSaori Hasegawainstead, the dialogue is different. When playing as the female protagonist, you’ll trigger Tanaka’s appearance atPaulownia MallafterRank 2of theHermit social link.
Once he appears, the female protagonist must haveRank 2 Charmto get him to speak with her.
Paying President Tanaka
Finally, once he’s appeared at the mall and will speak to you, you’ll need togive Tanaka cash over the next few daysto finish unlocking the Devil social link.
