Persona 3 Portableonce againdrops you into the shoes of a high school student, and one of the many extracurricular clubs you can join at Gekkoukan High is a sports club. The male protagonist and female protagonists each have different clubs, coming with different athlete social links for each.

The male protagonist has a friendly rivalry with Kazushi Miyamoto, while the female protagonist befriends Rio Iwasakiinstead. Hang out with your pals at practice to rank up their social links, and if you’d like to know what to say to increase your Chariot social link in P4G, read on ahead.
This guide may contain spoilers for the plot of Persona 3 Portable.
How To Unlock The Chariot Social Link
Male Protagonist
When playing as the male protagonist, your Chariot social link will beKazushi Miyamoto.
Your social link with him begins when youspeak to himon4/23,when you join theFencingClub or Swim Teamat Gekkoukan High.
Unlike other Persona games,regardless of which sport you choose, Kazushi will be Persona 3 Portable’s athletic social link if you’re playing as the male MC.
Female Protagonist
P3P’s female protagonist hasRio Iwasakias the Chariot Social Link.
Similar to the male MC, Rio is your athletic social link for Persona 3 Portable, you meet her by joining either theTennis Club or Volleyball Clubat Gekkoukan High.
This can be done byspeaking to heras soon as 4/24. However, if you’ve not triggered Rio’s Social Link manually after your first month at Gekkoukan, then it will thenstart automatically on5/27.
As always, be sure tobring a Chariot Personawith you when you hang out with Kazushi or Rio.
Doing so will give anextra affinity pointfor any answer that grants them, up to three total per answer.

Phone Hangout Scenes With Kazushi
You have two additional opportunities to spend time with Kazushi outside your usual scheduled meeting times. These will be when he calls you on6/7, as well as at the Summer Film Festival, which takes place on8/22.
The Summer Film Festival scene contains no dialogue choices, but will give you+3 Couragefor spending time with Kazushi.

Additional Scenes With Rio
You’ll have two bonus opportunities to earn affinity with Rio, so long as you’vebegun her social link before 5/24.
She will call you on two occasions - once on5/24, and again on6/7.
