One of the biggest changesPersona 3 Portablemade to vanilla P3 was that the male and female protagonists occasionally have different characters filling their social links. For P3P’s Strength arcana social link, the male protagonist will be spending time withYuko Nishiwaki, the manager for the sports clubs, while the female protagonist gets the best boy in SEES,Koromaruthe dog.

While entirely different from one another, both characters serve as one of the protagonist’s Strength arcana and befriending them boosts your fusion power to new heights. For help maxing your Strength social link in P3P, read on ahead.

How To Begin The Strength Social Link
Male Protagonist
If you’ve chosen to play P3P as the male protagonist, you’ll begin your social link with Yukoas early as4/28.However, you’ll need to have initiated yourChariot social linkbyjoining an after-school sports cluband beginning your social link withKazushi Miyamoto.
During bothRank 2 and Rank 3of the Chariot social link for the male MC, you’ll have the option tochat with Yuko after sports practice.
On both of these occasions, youtalk to herand thenoffer to walk her home. She’ll decline during Rank 2, but accept when you ask on Rank 3. She’ll ask if you’re okay with stopping someplace along the way, soagree to the stop.
Your Strength social link with Yuko will formally be established following this scene.
Female Protagonist
While playing P3P as the FeMC, you’ll instead form a social link withKoromaru, the SEES team’s canine recruit.
Theearliest dateon which you’re able to begin Koromaru’s social link is8/15. However, you’ll need to have firstbegun your social link with Fuuka.
Your navigational support representsthe Priestess arcana, and during yourRank 1 scenewith her during her own social link, you’ll receive a serving ofDog Food.
Shortly after, you’ll see a scene with a few members of SEES andthe dog they’ve seen around Naganaki Shrine.
This is aprerequisite to beginning your social linkwith Koromaru, no matter how far ahead of his social link beginning you may see the scene.
Fuuka’s social link can begin as early as 6/15, so depending on when you begin hers,you may meet Koromaru fairly early.
However, while you do need togive him the Dog Foodbefore this occurs, youcan’t begin his social linkuntil he joins SEES andbegins living in Iwatodai Dormitory.

How To Rank Up Yuko’s Strength Social Link

How To Rank Up Koromaru’s Social Link
To advance his social link, you’ll spend plenty of timetaking Koromaru for walksat night, where you two will sometimes be joined byanother member ofSEES. Ifsomeone goes with youto walk Koromaru, you’llearn points toward their social linkas well.
Koromaru can sometimesfind items on your walks, which are most typicallyHP or SP itemsfor use inside Tartarus.
