One of the preliminary members of your Investigation Team inPersona 4 Golden,Yukiko Amagi, is the soft-spoken, introverted daughter of the couple that runs the much-beloved local hot spring and inn. Torn by her inherited innkeeping fate and trying to figure things out for herself, your relationship with Yukiko is a game-changer for both of you.

Yukiko’s Social Link Battle Perks
Yukiko’s social link still begins fairly early in the game, but you’ll need to finish Yukiko’s Castle and save her from the Midnight Channel before you can begin hanging out. Her social link begins automatically on5/17- the day Kanji is kidnapped.
And like the other members of your Investigation Team, Yukiko is able to learnnew battle perksas you grow your relationship with her.

Like the rest of the Investigation Team, you can invite Yukiko to join you onbike ridesbeginning at theend of August. You can invite each teammatefive times, and on each ride, their Personalearns a new skillthat it isn’t able to learn naturally through leveling.

How To Rank Up Yukiko’s Social Link
It’s up to you whether you keep Yukiko in your battling party, but regardless of whether she’s one of your main three, it still pays off to befriend your classmates, and Yukiko is no exception.
Like with the remainder of the characters in the game, youearn extra affinity points for having a Persona of the same arcanaas your social links during hangouts.
Yukiko covers thePriestessarcana, so be sure to come prepared if you’ll be spending time with her for free bonus points to your affinity.
Additionally, if you’re aiming toromance Yukikoduring this playthrough, the option to do so occurs during herRank 9scene.

Non-Ranking Scenes
Yu is able tosneak out of the house beginning on 4/19, while his uncle, Ryotaro Dojima, is preoccupied with late nights at work. On these occasions, you can meet up with your social links around town, and while the social link won’t progress to the next rank during these scenes, it’s still a great way to earn extra affinity.
On these occasions, Yukiko can be found in theSouth Shopping District. After these scenes, Yukiko will offer you one of a few dungeon-crawling items as well.

You also have a chance to earn an extra point or two with Yukikoduring the school trip on 6/18if you tell her she looks cute.
This bonus is impacted by having a Priestess Persona on you, meaning you’ll earn a second bonus affinity point if you do. However, you canonly compliment one girl, so choose wisely.
