The huge world ofIris Fallis divided into different chapters that tell you an interesting story about the main character and the place you’re in. Although, you have to solve a bunch of puzzles if you want to progress and know more about the place. This can be quite hard sometimes because there are puzzles that’ll get you lost.

If you’ve beaten the first five chapters of the game, you’re quite close to the end. While the game will start revealing many secrets to you at this point, the puzzles will also get more difficult. Thankfully, the intuitive nature of the puzzles still stays, and it won’t be hard to figure out what you have to do.
How To Solve The Slate Puzzle
In chapter five, you’ll have to go through three Rubik’s Cube puzzles. The pattern to solve these puzzles is randomized for every player, but a giant door will open at the top once you’re done with the third one.Going through this door will leave you in a dark room with thunder revealing the surrounding objects for a bit.
In this room, you’ll be on top of a set of stairs, and you’ll have to navigate your way down in the darkness. As you go down,the room will start lighting up and you’ll see a white dot on top of a pedestal in the middle. When you make your way to the pedestal and interact with it,the main character will place the book you had on it.
This will reveal a triangular slate puzzle with four different icons and the locations they’re supposed to be in.The main objective of this puzzle is simple, you have to ensure each piece is in the correct position. What makes the puzzle hard is that every time you press one of the six buttons, one of the three Hexagons will move.
Since the four icons stay at the same position whenever you start the puzzle,there can be a straightforward pattern to solve it, as mentioned below. Although, if you’ve already made some moves on the puzzle, it might be better to restart the checkpoint and follow these instructions from the start:
After following the instructions correctly,all four symbols will be in their correct position, and a cutscene will trigger. A lot of things will happen in this cutscene and the first one will be the shadow of a lady holding a candle stand in her hand on the giant book ahead.
Other than that,five golden butterflies will spawn on a bookshelf on your left. Once the cutscene ends, don’t touch anything on the pedestal and head to the bookshelf first.
How To Find All The Pieces For The Shadow Puzzle
Right in front of the bookshelf,there’ll be a typewriter that will have five symbols when you click on it. You simply have to match the symbols with the books that the butterflies are sitting on. For example,the butterfly with two dark dots of different sizes on its wings is sitting on a book that has only one dot on it.
The typewriter has the symbols from the books,and you’re supposed to input the symbols on the butterfly wings. Once you’ve filled all five of them correctly, the butterflies will go away, and the bookshelf will also open to let you pass.There will also be a sandal on the floor that will be replaced by the typewriter, and you need to pick it up.
The scene might not change to the next room until you go in quite far.Once the scene is changed, you’ll see three white dots that you’re able to interact with. One of these dots will bring a light out of the ground that will shine on the screen. The other two white dots will give you two white butterflies of different sizes.
The solution to this puzzle will be quite obvious once you see the shadows on the wall. There will be three different hooks in the room, and one of them will already have a butterfly.You have to place all three butterflies on the correct hooks to match their shadows on the wall.
After solving the puzzle and going through a cutscene,you’ll be able to get the bell that will drop on the floor. After acquiring the bell,head back out to the place where you had the typewriter. As you go out, the shelf on the right side will turn, and it’ll reveal a black door that you can use.
As you enter the next room, a light will spawn out of the ground automatically, and it’ll place the lady’s shadow on the wall.While it’s obvious that you have to match the shadows once again, it’s a little harder this time with an extra step. You need to first interact with the mechanism shown in the picture once.
This will change the pose of the lady. Now,head to the mechanism near the light and press it once to make the light go near the mannequin. Finally, you can use the book on the right edge of the room to go into shadow form and get the bell from the left side. Head back to the book and manifest your human form.
As you go back to your human form, another hook will spawn near the mannequin.Place the bell you just got on this hook and fix everything you did before. This means that you have to pull the light back to its original position, and also change the pose of the mannequin once more. With this, the puzzle will be solved and you’ll get the last item required.
How To Solve The Final Puzzle
With all three items in your bag,head back to the initial pedestal where you solved the slate puzzle. Here are the placements of all the items to solve the final puzzle:
After solving the puzzle, a cutscene will show a lady going toward a castle, and the books around this place will create a bridge from where your character is standing to the giant book.Follow through this bridge and get close to the book. This will trigger the final cutscene of this chapter where your character will get sucked into the book itself, starting chapter seven.
