There aretwo areas that you need to clearbefore this quest becomes available. Both areas need you toremove their bandit infestationsbefore the quest becomes available.
A bandit camp to thenorthwest of Condoyle.

The bandit camp hasan abundance of explosive barrelsandtight confines.You can combine the two toquickly kill many banditsif you are fast.
The crying woman will appeareast of the abandoned siteafter the conditions are met.Talk to her to start the quest.
Finding Her Fiancé
As always, you will have touse Geralt’s Witcher Sensesto identify and follow the tracks in the ground. You will encounter a pack of wild dogs and the recently deceased fiancé after a short distance. Unfortunately, the only thing left to do is tokill the dogsand bring the bad news to the woman.
Though grieving, the woman still offers Geralt his payment. You can choose toaccept or reject it.
You will receive40 orensand asmall experience point reward.
Reject The Payment
You willnot receive any moneybut willhave a larger experience point reward.
The payment is so small thatrejecting the paymentmay be smarter in the long term byallowing Geralt to level up more quickly.
