Harvestellacombines farming sim elements with a JRPG-style story, creating a unique experience where you tend to your growing farm and attempt to save the world at the same time. You get to know the people living in the various towns and villages, and learn about the Quietus that’s plaguing the world.

As you near the end of the game, you learn that the Omens were, in fact, aiming to protect humans and the planet from the Quietus. However, the humans living now aren’t the same as those living before, and Geist forces you to choose between the Cains and the Abels — the two different species of humans. What you decide to do changes the ending and how things unfold hereafter. There is also a secret ending to be obtained.
At the beginning of the game’s ninth chapter, What Falls From The Heavens, after you have beaten Harbinger Aria, Geist will present you with a decision. When you approach and interact with the panel, you’ll be given two options only.
You can choose to save the Lost Gaians (known as Cains, and who Aria belongs to) or save the ReGaians (known as Abels, and who your character belongs to).
Choosing either of these options will lead to the credits rolling and the end of the game.
Before continuing this chapter, make a new save fileso that you may return to this point and witness the different endings.
How To Unlock The Good Ending
While it might seem that there are only two options in front of you at this point, there is a secret third option available to you.
Rather than interacting with the panel, attempt to leave the room. Geist will stop you and ask, “Are you trying to renounce the decision?”Say “Yes.”
From here, there are a few dialogue options that you will need to select carefully.
When Geist asks you further questions, choose these dialogue options in order:
Geist will then again attempt to persuade you that you need to choose between the Lost Gaians and ReGaians, and make you choose between them a second time. You canchoose either of them here, butmake sure you say “No” when he asks if you’re sure.
Next, Geist will ask if you can think of any other way to save the planet and its people. Tell him,“We should rid ReGaia of Quietus.”
With Geist convinced that you will not back down, a cutscene will play, and you will progress to the epilogue, titled Story of Your World.
