The Mountain King resembles the agileYumkasaurus Saurianbut is significantly different — it is colossal in size and performs much slower movement.
His massive frame may slow him down, but his battle-hardened experience has forged his might into something far more dangerous.
According to legend, he somehow got trapped in an inescapable location, making him one of the oldest of his kind. To defeat him, you’ll need to interfere with his food due to his insatiable appetite.

Where to find the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King
After unlocking Natlan, venture toward the Basin of Unnumbered Flames, located east of the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. The nearest landmark is the Statues of The Seven.
Upon arrival, seek out theTepetisauruslurking nearby — this creature holds the key to accessing the area beneath the lava rocks. Indwell the Tepetisaurus to slip below the fiery surface of the land.
Once underground, head eastward. Leap the glowing blue sphere, then land on the rocky terrain where the Gluttonous Yumakasaur Mountain King resides.
Best Genshin team composition to defeat and counter the Gluttonous Yumkasaur Mountain King
Facing the Mountain King requires patience and a solid grasp of his attacks.
In the first phase, he fires a slow-moving ranged attack that is easy to dodge. He also has a spinning attack and jumping attack, which are hard to avoid at close range. Agile characters and a healer are highly recommended due to his powerful strikes.
More importantly, it has one attack that youmustbe mindful of. When Flamegranates appears, it means that he’s charging up his strongest attack.
The catch is here that you can avoid it entirely by destroying the Flamegranate with pyro attacks before the Mountain King devours it.
Failure to do so results in a massive fireball being hurled at you. The third fireball is especially dangerous as its capable of one-shotting even max level characters.
Pyro DPS characters like Yoimiya or an offensively built Bennett excel in this fight, as their fast Pyro attacks can neutralize the Flamegranates before disaster strikes.
