In the previous episode, the motive of a Demonfolk boy named Rolo for controlling the dragon was revealed—he was promised freedom if he attacked the kingdom.
We also discovered that Noor, despite being poisoned by the Black Death Dragon, has an extraordinary resistance to the toxin.
A flashback showed how he had been poisoned in the past, which led to him developing this resistance. With the poison neutralized, Noor outwits the dragon by trapping its toxic gas inside its mouth, causing the dragon’s head to disintegrate.
Lynne is initially wary of Rolo, but still accepts him to the team. Despite the prohibition against Demonfolk entering the Mithra Theocracy, Lynne insists on taking Rolo with them.
The episode ends with the sudden arrival of a mysterious man, leaving us uncertain whether he is a friend or foe.
