Is Black Myth Wukong multiplayer?
The short answer is no, Black Myth Wukong is not multiplayer, and you’re able to not play it with your friends or other online players.
The game focuses solely on a single-player experience, and everything is shaped around that.
Previously, players were expecting it to offer multiplayer, as Elden Ring, which is similar to it in some ways, allowed players to play together.
However, when the game was launched, there was no co-op feature in Black Myth Wukong.
Why is Black Myth Wukong single player only?
Black Myth Wukong focuses on the journey of Sun Wukong, and everyone gets to play as him.
There aren’t any other characters that you can create or unlock, which is something we can do in Elden Ring.
In other words, the game has been designed for a single-player experieince only, and the developers have shared no plans to introduce a multiplayer mode.
While it is possible that we might see a co-op mode in the future, the chances for it to happen are close to zero.
This is because introducing new characters, mechanics, modes, elements, and more will require a lot of work from the developers.
Instead, the devs will most likely focus on improving the single-player experience by introducing DLCs filled with plenty of new content, such as newbosses, weapons, and even new story elements.
As of right now, Game Science has showed no interested in Black Myth Wukong co-op mode, and it will most likely stay like this in the future.
