CDE Entertainment and Emerald City Games have announced the release date for new mobileTomb Raidergame, Tomb Raider Reloaded, with a full worldwide launch expected to take place later this month on February 14 for both iOS and Android. The game is also set to launch on Netflix, which will be free to play with any subscription and will be completely ad-free.
Tomb Raider Reloaded is a little different from your typical Tomb Raider title, as can be seen in the trailer embedded down below. Being the first ever roguelike in the Tomb Raider series, you’ll take on the role of Lara Croft as she maneuvers and dodges her way past enemies and traps in procedurally generated levels based on prior locations throughout the series, including the City of Vilcabamba, the Lost Valley, and St. Francis' Folly.

Just like you’ve come to expect from the roguelike genre, Tomb Raider Reloaded will also feature an upgrade and progression system that includes permanent weapons, upgrades, and abilities, while players will also be able to earn XP to unlock iconic outfits. Being made in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, you’ll also get to meet several characters from across the Tomb Raider series, including Winston, Anaya Imanu, and Werner Von Croy. Lara herself will be played by Keeley Hawes who is reprising her role after Guardian of Light and Temple of Osiris, as well as in mainline games Anniversary, Legend, and Underworld.
