The MPL ID Season 13 playoffs bring together six of Indonesia’s topMobile Legends: Bang Bangteams, all vying to be styled as the best team in the region.
Alongside the bragging rights, the tournament champion will also claim the lion’s share of the $336,500 prize pool.
The stakes are even higher, as the grand finalists will represent the region for the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup 2024 (MSC 2024) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Reigning MPL ID and MSC champions ONIC Esports are favorites to win the title, but standing in their way are juggernauts Bigetron Alpha who dominated theregular season.
They also face tough competition from last season’s runner-ups Geek Fam Indonesia and the resurging Aura.
MPL ID Season 13 playoffs format
Like previous seasons, the playoffs adopts a hybrid elimination format.
The third to sixth teams battle in the single-elimination first round. The two winners advance to the next round where a double-elimination format kicks in.
Bigetron Alpha and ONIC Esports, who topped the regular season standings, start in the upper bracket semifinals.
All matches are best-of-five, except for the grand final, which is a best-of-seven series.
RRQ Hoshi and Team Liquid Aura are eliminated.
Geek Fam and EVOS Glory continues to the second round.
June 6 (Thursday)

June 7 (Friday)
