What is My Hero Academia about?

MHA is a superhero manga created by Kohei Horikoshi. The series follows the story of Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and his quest to become a hero despite being born quirkless in a world of superpowers.

The series debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in July 2014 and is ongoing, with over 40 volumes published as of April 2024.

Cathleen “Star and Stripe” Bate is the number one hero in America. Her quirk, New Order, allows her to impose rules on a target by touching them and saying their names.
