The item’s combination of Physical Attack, Attack Speed, and Lifesteal makes it an ideal early-game item for marksmen, allowing them to deal more damage while sustaining themselves in fights.
Outside of the stats, it also packs two unique passives, namely Malefic Energy and Zeal.
Malefic Energy increases the hero’s attack range for a duration after hitting an opponent with a skill. This extended range can be crucial for kiting enemies and positioning effectively during battles.
Zeal gives you a boost to your hero’s movement speed for each Basic Attack landed. This temporary increase in speed helps you chase down foes. Alternatively, you can also use it to retreat from dangerous situations.

The additional movement speed can help you reposition easily. When you combine this effect with the Quantum Charge emblem effect, your maximum movement speed becomes comparable to the Battle Spell, Sprint.
