With the Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn around the corner,Pokemon Gois hosting a brand-newPrimal Rumblingsevent to assist you in your preparations. This in-game event will give you the opportunity to stockpile useful items, as well as provide you with encounters with Pokemon from the franchise’s Hoenn region.

Primal Rumblings will come and go in the blink of an eye, with a brief, two-day duration spanning fromWednesday, February 22 at 10 am local time to Friday, February 24 at 10 pm local time.Use the complete guide we have put together for this event to make sure that you’re taking advantage of all of its unique offerings.

Event Bonus

For this event, there will only be one constant bonus available to players who choose to participate. Throughout the two-day duration of this event, all players will receivedouble the XP for evolving Pokemon,a resource needed to increase your Trainer Level. Make sure tostock up on Pokemon to evolvein the days leading up to this event, providing you with twice as much XP for doing so.

To truly take advantage of this bonus and maximize your XP gain, use theLucky Eggitem prior to evolving your Pokemon in bulk.

While this item is active, you willreceive two times the XP,stacking on top of the event’s double XP bonus.

Event Research

Field Research Tasks

you’re able to obtainevent Field Research Tasksduring this in-game event, themed around Pokemon’s Hoenn region. These Field Research Tasks can be acquired byspinning different PokeStop Photo Discsthroughout Primal Rumbling’s duration.

Completing these tasks will reward you with different in-game items that will assist in preparing for Pokemon Go Tour: Hoenn’s Global portion of the event.

Collection Challenge

There will be aPrimal Rumblings Collection Challengeavailable during the two days of this event. This Collection Challenge can be completed primarily throughevolving different Pokemonfrom the Hoenn region.

Completing this Collection Challenge will reward you with useful in-game items, includingUltra Ballsand aRocket Radar.

Event Wild Encounters
