Before it was a generic insult for anyone on the internet with ideas different to yours, NPC was a term in video games meaning ‘non-player character’. Essentially, it’s any character you don’t control, but more specifically it’s those in the background who don’t really do anything except exist, or occasionally be blown up or shot at or otherwise interfered with by the actions of the player. You probably don’t pay attention to them all that much, but oy, are you gonna wish you had in a second. That’s because the latest edition of TheGamer’s quiz is Name That NPC.
All you have to do is look at the picture and tell me what game they’re from. Nothing to it. Before you ask ‘do I need the game name, or just the series?’, first off remember that I can’t hear you. I typed this out a few days ago and only scheduled it to go live today, and even if I did publish it immediately, I can’t hear everyone who screams things at my articles - which is a shame, as I’m sure they only have nice things to say. Secondly though, that’s up to you. There are no grades on the line here. This won’t impact your future. There’s no homework. The answers at the bottom of the page will list the exact game name, but if you want to count having the right series as being correct, who’s even going to know?

Darn, there’s an arrow with this character’s name, but it’s right off screen. Would that even have helped you though?
The Man Carrying Two Invisible Carpets
Everyone loves this guy, right? Never seen him without those invisible carpets. Of course, as is the case with invisible carpets, I’ve never seen himwiththem either.
Soulja Boy
Okay, so there are too many zombie games, but you definitely remember this one specific game with the soldiers in it, right?
