Our favoriteLeague of Legends championshave adopted powerful, animal-like abilities to transform into elite fighters known asAnima Squad.

Its very first member was Battle Bunny Riven, a classic skin among top lane mains which dresses the champion Riven in a sexy black bunny suit.

Years after Battle Bunny Riven’s release, Riot Games expands the Anima Squad skin line, adding new champions to this furry group of superheroes.

Ancient animals

One of the first Anima Squad skins ever released is Battle Wolf Sylas. In this skin, the champion sports a pale gray color with matching wolf ears that resemble the wild animal.

While the Battle Wolf Sylas splash art looks gorgeous, the skin appears eccentric in-game with yellow and purple chains. It’s also hard to identify Sylas’ wolf-like features from afar, save for the mask he puts on whenever he casts his ultimate, Hijack.

We believe other male champions are more suited for this skin line, such as Sett orWarwick, an actual wolf monster.

The Battle Bat Vayne skin adorns the Demacian night hunter in fuchsia pink, a contrasting shade from the winged creature’s usual dark color. This Anima Squad skin is complete with bat-shaped everything, including wings, a cape, and a crossbow weapon.

While the skin looks decent, Riot Games could have improved her pink flapping bat wings which look more like butterfly wings in-game.

The Anima Squad skin line introduces some terrifying new enemies: the monstrous Primordians, Bel’Veth, Rek’Sai, and Briar. Their goal? To completely wipe out humanity.

However, when it comes to their designs in these skins, the Primordians don’t quite live up to the threat. While they’re certainly monstrous, they look a bit… familiar. Rek’Sai’s design feels like a recolor of their usual form, and Bel’Veth seems almost unchanged.

We’re hoping Riot gives these villains a more visually distinct and intimidating makeover to truly match their apocalyptic mission in-game.

Superpowered skins

Years after the classic Battle Bunny Riven skin’s release, this beloved skin is getting a revamped version called the Battle Bunny Prime Riven skin. The new skin replaces Riven’s sexy black suit and stockings with a white and blue battle suit that reminds us of Zootopia’s Judy Hopps.

The reworked skin is a treat for long-time Riven mains, especially since it’s filled with bright orange particle effects that match her giant carrot broadsword.

Another must-have Anima Squad skin is Battle Cat Jinx. It is loaded with smooth animations and great particle effects that all League of Legends players would appreciate. We simply can’t get enough of the “meow” sound effects that pop up every time she casts her ultimate, Super Mega Death Rocket.

Yasuo fans are going feral over his Battle Wolf form, which shows the Ionian swordsman in a sharp, formal outfit. To really capture the wolf spirit, Yasuo sports a pair of wolf ears and fierce, pointed claws.

The details on this skin are fantastic. If you take a closer look at Yasuo’s sword, you’ll see a wolf sculpted into the pommel. It’s a subtle detail that perfectly ties the whole Battle Wolf theme together.

Serving humanity (and looks)

The best Anima Squad skin you’re able to purchase with Riot Points is the Battle Bunny Miss Fortune skin.

This skin follows a purple and silver color palette, with the bounty hunter dressed in chunky boots, an off-shoulder metallic jacket, and thigh-high socks. Miss Fortune leaves a faint trail of bunny prints wherever she goes, a nice little detail for effects enthusiasts.

The icing on the cake was Battle Bunny Miss Fortune’s dance number, which pays reference to theSubaru Duck Dance animated by Suzuki Kenta.

In 2024, Riot Games released a Mythic Variant to the popular Battle Bunny Miss Fortune skin called Admiral Battle Bunny Miss Fortune. This variant takes Miss Fortune’s bunny persona to a whole new level.

Admiral Battle Bunny Miss Fortune ditches the cute for something more powerful. She’s now rocking a sleek, black suit that screams authority. But fear not, Miss Fortune hasn’t completely abandoned her playful side. A splash of pink in her hairstyle keeps a hint of the original Battle Bunny charm.

Battle Dove Seraphine soars above the rest, transforming Seraphine from pop star to powerful protector. Clad in a sleek black and white bodysuit, she’s ready to take on any threat. The suit’s design hints at her technological prowess, but it’s far from boring. A splash of purple adds a touch of pop-star flair.

The real showstopper is Seraphine’s wings, which are a beautiful blend of engineered technology and dove-like elegance. The glowing white feathers symbolize peace, love, and purity, a powerful message for Seraphine to carry into battle.

On her left ear, a matching wing-shaped communication device completes the look, letting Seraphine stay connected to her teammates while soaring above Final City.
