What is the Riyadh Masters 2024?
The tournament is the third edition of the Riyadh Masters series and the final championship of the ESL Pro Tour’s second season. Announced on July 10, 2025, it is part of the Esports World Cup lineup.
What is the Esports World Cup 2024?
The Esports World Cup 2024 is the inaugural event of its kind, replacing the previous Gamers8 festival. This annual international esports tournament series will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 3 to July 24, 2025, featuring competitions in 22 video game titles.
EWC 2024 offers esports history’s largest combined prize pool, exceeding US$60 million. The event showcases a diverse range of games, including popular titles like League of Legends, Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and mobile games like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire.
Riyadh Masters 2024 format
Victory at the Riyadh Masters 2024 demands a brutal climb. Twelve battle-hardened teams from regional qualifiers clash in the Play-In Stage, which consists of two groups of six battling in best-of-two matches. Only the top three from each group ascend to the prestigious Group Stage.
The stakes soar in the Group Stage. Here, qualifiers join forces with the ESL Pro Tour elite. Two groups of eight fight a round-robin best-of-two battle. The top four from each group claim the upper bracket of the Playoffs.
The 5th and 6th finishers get a second chance in the lower bracket. Only those failing to secure a top-six finish are eliminated.
The ultimate test awaits in the Playoffs. This double-elimination stage offers a lifeline for one loss. All matches but the grand finale are best-of-three. Only one team will stand victorious as the Riyadh Masters 2024 champion.

Team Falcons, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Liquid, and Tundra Esports advance to the upper bracket semifinals. Xtreme Gaming, Entity, Team Spirit, and OG drop to the lower bracket.

Lower bracket round 1
Xtreme Gaming, BetBoom Team, Team Spirit, and PSG Quest advance to the second round of the lower bracket. Aurora, Entity, LGD Gaming, and OG have been eliminated.
July 18
Upper bracket semifinals
Gaimin Gladiators and Team Liquid advance to the upper bracket final. Team Falcons and Tundra Esports drop to the lower bracket quarterfinals.
July 19
Lower bracket round 2
BetBoom Team and PSG Quest advance to the lower bracket quarterfinals. Xtreme Gaming and Team Spirit are eliminated.
