SEGA has unveiled the official release date for ATLUS’ latest installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series — Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance.
This game is an expanded version of the hit RPG game Shin Megami Tensei V, with an improved storyline featuring new locations, demons, and choices to make.

What is Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance?
In 2021, ATLUS’ Shin Megami Tensei V sold over 1 million copies and earned global acclaim. Now, it’s making its way to multiple platforms with a new story, improved gameplay, and polished features.
The game starts with two different story paths. The first one, called “Canon of Creation,” follows the original storyline from Shin Megami Tensei V.
The second one, “Canon of Vengeance,” introduces a new narrative.
Each story route offers around 80 hours of gameplay, adding up to a total of 160 hours of action-packed content.
Additionally, you’ll find plenty of new features to enjoy, including enhancements to the battle system, Demon Fusion, and exploration of the game world.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance gameplay features
The series’ simple but rewarding turn-based press turn Combat system and Magatsuhi Skills are making a comeback. At the same time, several new gameplay features are introduced to enhance the experience.
All ally demons now possess innate skills, providing players with an edge in battle. These skills range from simple buffs to the ability to initiate Demonic Conversations, convincing enemy demons to join your side.
Furthermore, human characters can now join battles. Ichiro and Yuzuru can utilize the demon-summoning program to enlist additional allies to your side, including their demon partners.
Consecutive encounters
Enemy demons can enter a battle after the conclusion of a prior encounter. Vanquishing these additional demons rewards you with extra Macca and EXP.
Expect these consecutive encounters to become more frequent in areas teeming with enemy demons.
