If you love the Arca Plasmor or Catchmoon Kitguns, the Corufell is for you. The heavy attack on this weapon is a wide projectile attack that deals heavy damage with the right build. This guide will go over how to craft the Corufell, how the heavy attack works, and provide a build that excels in most content.
How To Obtain The Corufell
The Corufell’s components can drop from Tyana Pass,a Mirror Defense nodeon Mars. You must complete the “Heart of Deimos” quest to unlock this node. If the parts aren’t dropping from you, the crystals obtained from Mirror Defense may be exchanged for Corufell parts through Otak at the Necralisk. Each part costs 250 Rania Crystals and 150 Belric Crystals.Buying all four components this way will require a total of 1,000 Rania Crystals and 600 Belric Crystals, although most players will get a part or two by the time they accumulate this much currency.

The Corufell is a Heavy Scythe with a gunblade heavy attack. This weapon has solid critical stats, mediocre base damage which biases Impact, and average attack speed. Heavy Scythes in general struggle in endgame content due do the low damage multipliers of the Galeforce Dawn stance. With that said, this weapon’s alt-fire mode turns the scythe into an Arca Plasmor that fires a wide projectile, dealing heavy damage to anyone caught in the path.
We recommend most players build the Corufell around heavy attacks and critical stats.Heavy Scythes have lackluster light attacks, and the Corufell is sadly no exception. Galeforce Dawn does have quite a few multi-hit attacks, however, making it easy to build a high combo. This high combo makes your gunblade heavy attack deal massive damage against most lightly-armored targets. For Steel Path Grineer,an armor-stripping abilityis recommended to keep the Corufell’s damage competitive with other gunblades.
Corufell Build
This build is focused ongetting the most out of our heavy attack without compromising on light attack damage.Since this weapon has low status chance, we’re going to be building aroundcritical damage and heavy attack efficiency.
Low status chance means Condition Overload is out of the picture, so we recommend usingPrimed Pressure Pointto scale your base damage. We pair this withQuickeningfor a solid boost to attack speed while using your light attacks. Quickening also makes it quite easy to ramp up a large combo count thanks to its secondary effect.Sacrificial SteelandAmalgam Organ Shattergreatly boost our critical chance and critical multiplier, respectively. Sacrificial Steel ensures our gunblade shots critically hit, and Amalgam Organ Shatter makes the gunblade firing animation much faster.
Corrosive is a great elementon the Corufell. The low status chance makes Viral too inconsistent to recommend for armored targets. As a result, we’ll be usingPrimed Fever StrikeandFocus Energyto create Corrosive. Focus Energy is then further buffed withReflex Coilto give us 90% heavy attack efficiency, causing maximum combo heavy attacks to only consume 22 combo. This lets you spam devastating heavy attacks once your combo is built up.
The final slot is up to you. We useVolcanic Edgeto squeeze out some extra damage. If you want to extend your combo duration, you may use Dexterity Arcanes on your weapons orrun the Naramon Focus School. Alternatively, drop Volcanic Edge for Drifting Contact. If you find the Corufell’s heavy attacks too slow, replace Focus Energy with Killing Blow, then swap Volcanic Edge for Voltaic Strike. You’ll lose some heavy attack efficiency in exchange for damage and faster animations.
