Crown Zenithbrings a shocking development to thePokemon TCG. The set offers over 230 cards, with 159 in the main set, 70 Galarian cards, and one secret rare card. There’s no surprise that there would be quite a few electric-type cards in this expansion that could spark up any deck.

This set has 25 Electric-types total, some more overwhelming than others. That doesn’t mean these cards cannot bring a shock to any enemy you sit across. Each card adds new value to your deck, allowing for different and powerful strategies!

10Radiant Charjabug

If you need a card that can give you an edge against Pokemon V’s, then Radiant Charjabug is the critter for you. This Battery Pokemon has the ability Shocking Block that activates whenever your opponent attaches an Energy card from their to hand to one of their Pokemon V’s; the moment that happens, you can place two damage counters on the opponent’s Pokemon V’s.

This card also has the attack, Linear Attack which does 30 damage to one of your opponent’s Pokemon without applying Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon.

9Pincurchin

The Sea Urchin Pokemon, Pincurchin, is an excellent support that can surprisingly deal some decent damage. For a single Energy of any color, this card can use the move Call for Family, which allows you to search up to two Basic Pokemon from your deck and add them to your Bench.

Then it has the attack Continuous Tumble, which does 30 more damage for every single coin flip you do until you get tails. With a retreat cost of one Energy, all of this makes Pincurchin a powerful support card that can help you set up nicely.

8Luxray

The Gleam Eyes Pokemon, Luxray, has a peculiar ability. The ability Explosiveness allows for Luxray to be placed face down as your Active Pokemon when you are setting up to play. This will enable you to have a fully evolved Pokemon on the field with a decent HP pool of 160.

It also has the move Seeking Fang which only requires one Energy of any type. This attack does 50 damage and allows you to search for up to two Trainer cards, adding them to your hand.

7Heliolisk

The Generator Pokemon, Heliolisk, brings forth a couple of powerful attacks. This card’s first attack, Static Shock, does 30 damage for only one electric Energy. However, Heliolisk’s second attack, Wild Charge, does a breathtaking 150 damage for one electric Energy and two of any other Energy.

Although the downside of this outstanding attack is the 50 damage Heliolisk does to itself after using the move. But with a base HP of 120, is this even a worry when the Pokemon can practically one-shot its competition?

6Luxray - Rapid Strike

The Rapid Strike versionof the Gleam Eyes Pokemon is a true powerhouse. For a single electric Energy, Luxray can use Electrostep, which does 40 damage to one of your opponent’s Pokemon.

Then for a single electric energy and one of any other Energy, Luxray can use Scar Strikes. This attack does 100 damage but also does an additional 100 more damage if your Opponent’s Active Pokemon already has damage counters on it. Being able to dish out 200 damage for only two Energy with no real drawback is a dream come true.

Not only that, but Rotom V has the attack Scrap Short, which does 40 damage, but for every Pokemon Tool that you have in your discard pile, you’re able to put them in the Lost Zone, dealing 40 more damage for each card.

4Rotom VStar

Rotom VSTARis one of the spotlight cards for the Electric-types. This card has the move Scrap Pulse, which does 80 damage, but for every Pokemon Tool you move from the discard pile to the Lost Zone, this card does an additional 40 damage per card.

Then we have Rotom VStar’s Conversion Star ability that allows you to discard any number of cards from your hand, then draw that same number of cards from your deck. This enables Rotom VStar to stack up the discard pile with the necessary tools to blow away your competition!

3Zeraora V

Zeraora V doesn’t have any game-changing abilities. Still, this card has a fantastic base HP of 210 and a robust move set. This card can use Claw Slash for one electric Energy and one of any other, which does 50 damage.

Nothing special, but for one extra electric Energy, Zeraora V can unleash its Thunderous Bolt attack, which deals 190 damage, but can’t attack the next turn after. With such hard-hitting moves, this card doesn’t need special abilities to make the opponent shake with fear.

2Zeraora VMAX

Zeraora gets a significant boost in damage the moment this Pokemon enters VMAX. For only two electric Energy, this card’s Reactive Pulse attack does 60 damage for each of your opponent’s Pokemon in play that has an ability.

But what makes this card so threatening is the Max Fist attack, which does a whopping 240 damage at the cost of discarding two Energy from the Pokemon. Although costly, the move needing two electric Energy and one of any Energy to use, you’re always guaranteed a knockout against almost anything your opponent has out on the field. A tremendous high-risk-high reward card.

1Zeraora VSTAR

This version of Zeraora is absolutely terrifying. It has the Crushing Beat attack, which not only does 190 damage but also allows you to discard a Stadium in play. On top of that, this card’s VSTAR Power, Lightning Storm Star, is guaranteed to knock out any competition. When you use this move, you’re able to choose any one of your Opponent’s Pokemon four times to deal 60 damage to it, and the damage isn’t affected by Weakness or Resistance.

This allows you to knock out a singular Pokemon by stacking the damage, knocking out multiple Pokemon, or weakening your opponent’s field by spreading damage. This remarkable ability can turn the tides of a battle in your favor.
