People have not flocked to modding The Callisto Protocol compared to morepopular choices, like Skyrim, but the community has served well with the offerings created. The small selection can enhance visuals or take the protagonist into someone more familiar to you if Jacob is not a compelling enough character.
6The Real Life The Callisto Protocol Reshade Better Textures And Realism 2022 By Scottyus1
It might be amouthful of a reshader, but Scottyus1’s work is totally worth it if the prettiness of a game matters to you. The Callisto Protocol is one of the most impressive-looking games in the PS5 and Xbox Series generation between its highgraphical fidelity and realistic animation. Still, things can always be improved.
Using words like ‘real life’ and ‘realism’ stick the landing to what the modder accomplished. For an already realistic-looking horror game, The Callisto Protocol’s finer details get a bump to become more detailed. Blood, dirt, and grime all make for a dirtier world for you to navigate. Skin and screens all become clearer with what the developers originally designed, complimenting their work.
Much of the improvements come from the lighting. It acts more realistically when navigating dimly lit halls with flickering lights. Whether it makes some environments brighter or darker, it makes for a more immersive experience when trying to escape from the dead moon.
5The Callisto Protocol Thai By Artdekdok
The Callisto Protocol supports about a dozen languages, with some receiving full support across the audio, interface, and subtitles, with some missing audio. It opens the door for players who speak various languages, like French, Korean, and Polish. Of the many languages not offered is Thai. That is, until youdownload this mod.

Unsurprisingly, it does not support audio, as Artdekdok did not get a full team of Thai actors to dub the game. Still, the entire interface, such as menus, your inventory, and more, is in the language. The world melds it well, too, as all screens for the prison’s computers are rewritten in Thai.
The accessibility options for subtitles, from font size to font color, are incorporated with the mod. You can see the character’s name speaking in Thai with the dialogue in a different color. You can have your subtitles whichever way you want while using the mod.
4Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) By Darknessvaltier
Norman Reedus blew up his acting career as Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead. He made his jump to video games with Death Stranding. The Callisto Protocol hassome Hollywood actors, particularly with The Boys' Karen Fukuhara. If you are a big fan of Death Stranding or The Walking Dead, you may play as the actor bydownloading a mod.
Reedus emotes completely in the scenes as Jacob does. Unlike Death Stranding, which impressively brought the actor to virtual life, it can get into the uncanny territory. If you are not into Jacob and want to have some fun with the character model, then going in as Reedus could make for a good time. If only there was a crossbow to complete the package.
3Leon Scott Kennedy - Re2 By Darknessvaltier
Darknessvaltier is determined to deliver all sorts of fun and surprising characters to replace Jacob as the protagonist of The Callisto Protocol with another character model mod. Coming off Reedus, the modder delivers a replacement tolet you be Leon Kennedyfrom Resident Evil 2.

If you have distance from Resident Evil 2, you could give this version of Leon a pass. He looks significantly different, making him more of a reimagining of the classic Resident Evil character. The plus side is Jacob’s brown jacket at the beginning of the game on Leon gives some Resident Evil 4 vibes.
2No Intro By Artdekdok
The modder who brought Thai to The Callisto Protocol has another mod that might catch your attention. Everyone’s patience is different, and you may not be a fan of the intro of games before you can get back into the world. Artdekdok delivers a way toskip the introso you can get into Jacob’s shoes quicker.
Other modders have uploaded similar mods to skip the intro logos and videos for the sci-fi horror game. Some have an asterisk, like working if you have the game from specific storefronts. This is the one to highlight, but you should be okay downloading any other mods that serve the same purpose.
1Cinematic With DOF ReShade By Graftway
Another stellarshader mod is by Graftway, which delivers a more cinematic aesthetic to the already cinematic blockbuster game. Focusing on the lighting, colors, and sharpness of the depth of field creates a stronger sense of what the environment should feel like for the genre of sci-fi horror.
The color palette of The Callisto Protocol with this mod makes it duller with a neutral tone compared to the original visuals being warmer. The visuals are less oversaturated and sharpened, particularly when it comes to what is in the distance.
