With the current roster of 14 playable characters, there are a colossal 63 available combat outfits. 11 for The Hunter and four for every other character. You begin with everyone’s defaults, which are the classic looks from the comics, with theirMidnight Sunoutfits unlocking during the final story mission. The remaining two are paid skins that can be purchased with real money.

In addition to these, there are shader styles for each look that are bought with in-game currency. Your skins can be changed at any point on the outfit screen or even worn around The Abbey to show off your new style.

This list will be updated as each DLC character releases.

14Hunter - Ancestral

You’ll unlock Hunter’s Ancestral style after obtaining all four Words of Power, allowing you to open up the tomb beneath Lilith’s Garden, solving the mystery and spawning two legendary chests. After opening both chests, the Ancestral suit is yours.

Unlike most other Hunter looks, which are skin-tight and follow a modern design, this one has materials hanging over the shoulders and flowing around the legs. It has a hood that can be removed from the props section at any point anda passive suit ability where Hunter’s cards don’t exhaust.

13Captain America - Default

Surprisingly, some of the best around are the ones you start with, a claim that is strikingly true for Captain America. His default suit is the same look he’s been wearing for decades, the classic red, white, and blue with a large star centered on the shield to top it off.

It’s a basic yet practical design with knee pads, shoulder straps, and a utility belt that, while having no gameplay benefits, still gives the outfit an extra layer of realism. Some of the best shaders include Night Shift and Army Man.

12Iron Man - Default

Nothing can beat the standard design of Stark’s iron-plated red and yellow tech suit. Everything is carefully crafted to look pleasing to the eye, from the visor to the shaped arc reactor to how the iron is placed along the body.

You can pick up a few different color palettes from rare or higher chests, like the Golden Avenger (all gold) and Raw (all silver). There’s even a palette named Iron Patriot that shares the colors of the suit of the same name, worn by multiple people in Marvel comics.

11Doctor Strange - Default

Strange’s looks are incredibly similar; the only significant difference is the material for each suit. Midnight Sun is practically the same as the default but with a hood. In contrast, Defenders and Future Supreme are similar to the default, albeit with slightly altered outfit patterns and a different texture. Keeping an overarching style is in line with his character, as his standard Abbey outfit is also his combat outfit.

Any of these deserve the top spot. The only deciding factor is that the available color palettes look better on the material of the default outfit.

10Captain Marvel - Midnight Sun

Say hello to the only Midnight Sun look you’ll notice making an appearance on this list, as it’s the perfect mix of all Captain Marvel outfits that have come before. You have the chest emblem upon a shiny gold material with other pieces of this gold spread across the legs, shoes, arms, and shoulders.

The helmet has a gap at the top, allowing Carol’s hair to push through with a fiery glow ensuring she’ll stand out on the battlefield. The standard palette is the go-to here, but there are silvers, golds, reds, blues, and more to try out.

9Hulk - Maestro

Maestro is one of the paid skins for Hulk, which can also be obtained by buying the legendary edition of the game or the season pass (which includes all premium skins). Based on the Marvel character of the same name, the shaders alter Hulk’s skin, meaning you can play as Red Hulk, Grey Hulk, and Maestro with the classic Hulk colors.

Maestro wears the gear of the game’s playable characters as trophies, including Nico’s staff, which is worn around his neck, Tony’s helmet on his hip, Blade’s or Hunter’s swords on his back, and Robbie’s chains around his wrists.

8Scarlet Witch - Default

None of Wanda’s outfits particularly stand out, and she has the worst selection out of the character roster. However, her default does look visually better than her others. To get more out of this look, unlock the alternate color palettes to see which you prefer.

These additional colors are better than the standard red she adorns, bringing more life to the costume, so it doesn’t feel quite as dulled out. Unfortunately, you don’t get as wide of a selection as you do with the other characters, but the muted colors do their job.

7Spider-Man - Symbiote Suit

Another of the premium skins, Spider-Man’s symbiote suit is one for the ages. It has a liquified, almost fleshy texture to it which is not unlike the one seen in Hunter’s Demonchylde suit or Fallen Venom’s look. While the classic all-black is what Spidey fans are here for, you can also equip red, blue, green, and grey shaders from the inventory screen.

Where other suits are worth it alone for how they look in combat, this is one that you absolutely must see in cutscenes.

6Wolverine - Default

Wolverine’s default is based on his look in recent comics since his standard suit is yellow and brown rather than the original yellow and blue he once wore. You can still wear the original colors by purchasing the “Classic” palette for 300 gloss.

Other palettes feature a solid color like red or white, with the accents always being grey and black. There is less choice in finding colorful styles, but they all fit into the theme of Logan’s character. You even get the ever-iconic ears on the mask.

5Deadpool - X-Force

Deadpool’s default and X-Force outfits are strikingly similar at first glance, but there is a difference: the chest, head, and feet area. X-Force Wade has a utility harness with the X insignia across his chest, which connects to his belt and holds his additional combat items. His shoes are also more simplified than the default version, providing a sleeker look.

As is in the character of Wade, he isn’t one to shy away from wearing all manner of things, with the X-Trainee palette mirroring Logan’s classic colors.
