Popularity aside, some of these games just feel better to play on PC than on mobile or your consoles. Even if you’re not reeling in from the nostalgia, you should definitely check this game out if you’d want to immerse yourself in a swashbuckling point-and-click adventure experience like no other. Monkey Island is full of mystery, and adventure awaits you in between its storybook-like pages.

This underrated gem takes you back to the medieval town of Tassing through Andreas Maler, an aspiring master painter. Things go south almost immediately as the quiet, mostly peasant town has a murder handed to them in their own Abbey. You will be making important and hard decisions as Andreas, which affect the town since all of these decisions have consequences you might’ve not been able to predict in hindsight.

Pentimenthas the makings of a great game, from its unique medieval fresco art style, and its hilariously dry sense of olden humor. You’d never think living in medieval Bavaria would be worth the experience until you play this game.
12Cult Of The Lamb
Ever thought of building your own cult in the form of an animal that’s always referenced in biblical sacrifices? Let your intrusive thoughts win and play Cult of The Lamb, where you can amass a following for The One Who Waits. Whether that’s creepy is something you can think about after the events of the game, but its cute cartoonish style featuring woodland animals blurs the concept of messed up altogether.
This false prophet experience is one you shouldn’t pass up, after all, there areother cults in the gamesimilar to yours. You might as well be the god — or lamb — of your new world.
11Metal: Hellsinger
If playing false prophet isn’t for you, perhaps owning up to your vengeful, trigger-happy tendencies inMetal: Hellsingermight just be for you. And as the name suggests, it has a praise-worthy metal soundtrack that was nominated for the Game Awards 2022 for Best Score and Music, and later, BAFTA Games Achievement for Audio Achievement 2023.
There’s no doubt its soundtrack alone is great, but the rhythmic gameplay and the story of the Unknown are just as solid. Tear through demons and fight the Devil yourself, and you might just get your voice back.
10Immortality
Nominated for best narrative, best game direction, and best performance in The Game Awards 2022,Immortalityis a game perfect for cinephiles and horror aficionados.
Following Immortality’s gameplay is a challenge in itself since it’s a click-and-watch game that has no definite sequence. You will follow the career of an actress named Marissa Marcel, whose films were never released to the public. Watching these clips to get a glimpse of the truth behind these films and why they were left unfinished and unpublished.
9Hitman 3
Hitman 3graced PC in 2022, bringing an end to theHitman Trilogy. It won Steam’s VR game of the year award, and it’s a great conclusion to the story of Agent 47. You might want to play the games before this to appreciate the plot further, but it’s not necessary to do so for you to enjoy this classic.

If you want to explore the concrete jungle of New York while swinging around and fighting bad guys with the iconic web attacks, then this game is your chance to live the dream of being Marvel’s Peter Parker.

There is a lot of diversity in the kind of kingdom you can start in, from humans and gods to other mythical creatures. Exclusively a PC game, Total War: Warhammer 3 is something you shouldn’t shelf if you love strategy games.
6Ghostwire: Tokyo
Ghostwire: Tokyois a good dose of modern meets paranormal adventure-combat game available on both PS5 and PC. Journey with Akito as he takes his sick sister back from the hands of the Hannya man, whose goal is to bring death upon Tokyo in order to “liberate” souls from their bodies.

You’ll soon realize that all those recommendations are based, even if the premise of a high-schooler who is severely accused of a crime doesn’t really sound fascinating at first glance.
