As one of the first colors introduced in theDigimon Card Game, green is one of the mainstays in the game with many supporting cards printed set after set. Green has always been one of the colors with the most going for itself, and with many different keywords and mechanics unique to the color, is one to be reckoned with.

As most decks go, green has some exemplary staples that are a must-own for those of you who enjoy value-oriented plant decks. Constantly suspendingDigimonto get value like memory or card draw will leave your opponent frustrated with your control style. These cards will help that immensely.
10Flower Cannon
It doesn’t get any more simple than Flower Cannon. This card embodies everything that green stands for. For a measly cost of two memory, Flower Cannon can suspend one of your opponent’s Digimon.
While it may not seem as good as other cards, Flower Cannon can get you out of a pickle and help you remove a problematic Digimon. Not only that, but this card also can proc some of green’s most powerful Digimon effects, like Gummymon’s draw one when suspending an opponent’s Digimon.
9Kabuterimon
Blockers were a huge part of the meta in the early days of the Digimon Card Game, but as the game progressed and abilities like Piercing got stronger, Blockers took a backseat to other cards. What makes Kabuterimon so good is that it only costs one memory to Digivolve into it. Evolving a Digi Egg into a Rookie is free, meaning Kabuterimon’s total cost is only one memory. Having a Blocker on the next turn for one memory is just too much value.
Not only is Kabuterimon’s utility excellent for green decks lacking Blockers, but even if you disregard its Blocker keyword and solely focus on its low Digivolution cost, you can see how valuable this card is when building huge stacks with decks like GrandisKuwagamon.
8Argomon
Argomon is one of the best cards in green, with many of you realizing the power level of this card and the shenanigans that this Digimon can create. Its Digisorption keyword can make boss monsters appear out of nowhere for cheap and can even swarm the board with its When Attacking inheritable effect.

Although the rest of the cards in the Argomon line have been power crept, the level five Argomon still sees play in some of the best decks in the meta, such as Bloomlordmon.
7Gran Del Sol
Compared to red, green does not have as many removal options to get rid of pesky cards. Green usually relies on suspending Digimon and using Piercing to push their advantage. It wasn’t until Gran del Sol came in BT-10 that green gained an amazing defensive tool.
Benefitting from decks that can play multiple cards in a turn, Gran del Sol can reduce its play cost by two and return a Digimon to the bottom of the opponent’s deck. This is one of the strongest types of removal since there currently isn’t any way to shuffle your deck, meaning there is very little chance of your opponent seeing that card again.
6Mimi Tachikawa
As far as Tamers go, green doesn’t have too many options, or at least, any options that are worth noting. Mimi Tachikawa is one of the few exceptions. There are a few decks that can take advantage of Mimi’s ability to hatch another Egg in the same turn, as well as Bloomlordmon and Green Hybrid.
Although she seems like a good generic Tamer who can generate more card draw, Mimi is situational and requires a lot of setup. Bloomlordmon and Green Hybrid are known for this, making their synergy a perfect match.
5Pomumon
When Pomumon first dropped alongside the Bloomlordmon deck, it seemed a bit pointless since it hindered your plays while trying to spam the board with smaller plant Digimon. However, using this card against matchups like Jesmon is an incredible way to pass your turn.
Bloomlordmon tends to play similarly to aYu-Gi-Oh!deck, where they like to play a huge combo and end on a board that is hard for your opponent to deal with. Pomumon is the perfect way to top off the board.
4Samadhi Santi
Just like Flower Cannon, this card shares a similar effect of suspending one of your opponent’s Digimon. The reason why Samadhi Santi is slightly better than Flower Cannon is that this card can suspend one of your Digimon as a cost to activate, which can proc some of your other card effects.

Another huge boon to the card is that whichever Digimon you select to suspend does not unsuspend until their next turn, so you can use this card either as a defensive tool or to roll over your opponent.
3Hidden Potential Discovered!
There is a reason why Hidden Potential Discovered! is limited to one copy — it’s way too good of a card. Now that many Digimon have effects that can trigger when suspending them, HPD’s cost of suspending one of your own Digimon is not so much a cost any more, but rather a secondary effect to an already amazing card.
This card can help you climb to your powerful boss Digimon rather quickly, especially since most boss Digimon, includingone of the best cards in EX-03, Hydramon, only cost five memory.
2Terriermon
Just like ModokiBetamon in blue and Gazimon in purple, Terriermon is the memory floodgate for green. This card prevents your opponent from gaining any memory outside of Tamer effects, making this card great against decks like Bloomlordmon or even Alphamon.
Terriermon might be one of the better floodgates out of all the colors. Terriermon has direct support in the Rapidmon line with the dual-color Armor Form being able to evolve for only two memory. As a fan-favorite from the Digimon Tamers anime, this card is only bound to get more support.
1Green Memory Boost!
One of the biggest things that the color green lacks in the Digimon Card Game is search. Most searches within the color stem from Rookies with On Play search effects, but those tend to stick to a specific archetype. An example is BT-10 Palmon, which searches Plant-type Digimon.
Having generic card search like the Boost cards will always be helpful, especially when they leave you with a cozy two extra memory on the following turn. This can quickly climb into a second huge stack that can easily pummel your opponent.
