The long-running British sci-fi show would be amiss without letting you hop into the universe and play out your own adventures. The Doctor Who TTRPG is a 2d6-based game where you and your friends take control of one of the Doctors and any of their companions and adventure throughout space and time.
There is a seemingly endless amount of quests you can run and make up with this pretty open-ended game system. There’s a reason they’ve never run out of ideas for new episodes of this show. Whether you want to recreate some of your favorite episodes or make all new ones from your favorite season, the options are here for you. A great option for sci-fi fans and Doctor Who diehards alike.

This is a good choice for anyone who is a fan of the fantasy genre, and that goes doubly so for those who like the darker side of fantasy. Game Of Thrones was far from a kid’s show.

Take control of the survivors and try to survive the post-apocalyptic United States. The only problem is there are hordes of zombies and other survivors that are trying to kill you as you do so. This mini-based game is great for multiple players (each with their own survivor miniature)or even playing alone, thanks to the great enemy AI system that the game’s book goes into good detail about. If you like a good zombie game then don’t let this one slip by.
3Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons
At first, this may sound like a bit of a cheesy rebranding, but it actually is a pretty fun way for people to get into D&D for those who have seen the show, or those who want a fun modern twist on the classic game. Play as the show’s characters, rebuilt in the way of the classic fantasy game.
Your goal is to chase down and destroy the evil Demogorgon. While there isn’t much included with the game after the one adventure, it is a fun way to see the world of D&D anew.
2Avatar: Legends
One of the most prolific animated shows in the past few years now has its own TTRPG. In Avatar: Legends, you too can learn to bend the elements and make a name for yourself in the universe.
This is a solid choice for anyone who likes fantasy gaming or are fans of the show. It holds pretty true to the lore of the show and even has rules as for what happens when you meet a character who was in the show. There are a lot of great ways to explore and fight, so it all just depends on what you want to do with it.

Whether you’ve consumed everything Star Trek from the very beginning or are just a big fan of sci-fi TTRPGs, Star Trek Adventures will be a wealth of entertainment for you. Pilot your own ship and build your own crew as a captain in the Starfleet.
Send redshirts to die, meet new friends, and new enemies. There is a lot to do in this game and even more options for building your own adventures. It is easy to see why Star Trek is one of the best-known universes inthe sci-fi genreeven now.
