The Ray Gun is one of the most powerful weapons inCall of Duty: Cold War Zombies. It comes especially handy when you’re blazing through hordes of zombies in the game. However, the stronger the weapon, the more difficult it is to find it in the game.

Finding it is so tricky that it’s almost impossible to stumble over it on your own, which is why it’s handy to have a list of ways you’re able to find this weapon and blast those man-eating zombies.
Method #1: Mystery Boxes
You can find the Ray Gun in one of the mystery boxes scattered around theDie Maschine map. These boxes are represented bytiny dotson the map.
Each of the boxes costs950 pointsto open, so verify you have enough points before you go scavenging for the item from these boxes.
Method #2: The Coffin Dance Easter Egg
Alternatively, there is a method with better luck to find the Ray Gun, though it also requires more effort. As a pre-requisite for this method, you will need to havePack-A-Punch builtinto theDie Maschinemission of the game. Once the Maschine is built, you’ll have to search for thefive orbsappearing in the area and shoot them.
Orb #1
The first Orb appears at theextreme left of the entrance door of the power room. Keep heading left, look for ayellow chair turned upside down, and near it should be agap between the computers.The orb is right there. Shoot it.
Orb #2
Return to the stairs. Keep moving a couple of yards, and look at theceiling at the left of the Pack-A-Punch Maschine. You’ll find the second orb there.
Orb #3
The third orb can be found directly on theleft of the first one.Move towards theleftwhile staying with the wall, and you’ll locate the orb between a grating. Crouch to find a perfect angle to take the shot.
Orb #4
To find the fourth Orb,head down to the platform below the Maschine. Look for the arsenal that upgrades weapons and armor and jump over it to the machinery. You will find the orb, glowing in a dark corner.
Orb #5
For the final orb, move further down the platform. There should be awindow-type barrierfrom which zombies come through. The orb is in its left corner.
Once you shoot all five orbs, the anomaly that appeared while building the machine will appear again, and you will be transported to theDark Aether Realm. You’ll findseven zombies partying and imitating the viral coffin dance meme.
Once the zombies are done with the coffin, it’ll be placed on the floor.Open it to find items and perks in the coffin. Although the Ray Gun still isn’t guaranteed in this coffin, the chance is very likely - more so than any other method.
