Sons Of The Forest Sells 2 Million Copies Within First 24 Hours

The recently released survival game Sons of the Forest hasmanaged to move more than 2 million copies within just 24 hours. “Hey everyone,” developer Endnight said on Twitter. “Thanks to those who have joined us in our Early Access journey into Sons of the Forest. We have sold over 2 million copies in the first 24 hours and are very excited for what we have in store for players in the coming weeks.” The peak for concurrent players came in at just under 412,000.

Destiny 2 Lightfall has been running into problems,locking out players who preload the game, forcing a reinstallation. “We’re currently investigating an issue where the preload of Lightfall has been pushed out early in some regions,” Bungie said about the matter. “We recommend players pause this download until February 27 at 9:00 AM PST to continue playing the live game.” The company later added that “PS5 players who still want to play Destiny 2 need to perform the following: uninstall the game, go to Game Library, select Your Collection, select the Destiny 2 icon, select the PS5 version on the Destiny 2 store page, select Download to reinstall Destiny 2.”

Adin Ross was permanently banned on Twitch,provoking a lengthy and highly controversial tirade from the streamer. “I’m not even going to bash Twitch completely, but the one thing I’ll say is this: if I had blue hair and did my makeup, would you have banned me, Twitch? It’s a serious question,” Ross remarked. “Would you have permanently banned me? If I had blue hair and did my makeup and fingernails, would you have permanently banned me, bro? No, they wouldn’t have!"

Overwatch 2 Bug Is Changing Player Usernames For No Reason

Overwatch 2 has beenchanging player names for no apparent reason. “So, my name just randomly changed, I believe it changed after playing a custom game. I can’t figure out how to change it back, does anyone know how? I went on Battle.net and it says my Battletag is still the same,” a user on Reddit by the name of Karma_Sick for example explained. This of course comes in the context of ongoing issues with bugs in Overwatch 2, something which Blizzard has reportedly been looking into for several weeks.

HBO Calls The Last Of Us' Ellie And Riley Best Friends, Entire Fanbase Side-Eyes

HBO posted a picture of Ellie and Riley on Twitter, calling the characters best friends. “That best friend stare,” the company remarked. This naturallybrought on a series of collective eye rolls from the community, people responding in the hundreds with jokes and memes. As we all know, Ellie and Riley are somewhat more than just friends, but don’t tell anyone at HBO because they might complain about spoilers.
