Episode 2 of The Elusive Samurai delivered a brutal blow to Tokiyuki’s world. Separated from his older brother, Kunitoki, Tokiyuki found himself utterly alone.

Thankfully, Kunitoki managed to evade capture and found refuge with their enigmatic uncle, Muneshige Godaiin. While Kunitoki sought safety, Tokiyuki hid in an abandoned building on the outskirts of Kamakura.

Kunitoki’s goal was to reach Yorishige’s territory in Suwa, hoping to find an ally after the Shogunate’s demise.
