Half a year passed since the Kamakura shogunate’s fall as winter arrived. A new adversary appears, setting their sights on Tokiyuki.
Sadamune Ogasawara and Sukefusa Ichikawa joins forces with Shokan, a ruthless swordsman who aims to take over the Sawa territory. Meanwhile, Yorishige’s prophetic abilities falters, casting doubt on the future.
To counter the increasing threat, Tokiyuki proposed utilizing his Elusive Warrior group for surveillance. During a patrol, he encountered Fubuki, a skilled young warrior. A confrontation with Kojiro Nezu and Ayako Mochizuki was interrupted when Fubuki recognized Shizuku.
Fubuki revealed that the Sawa Grand Shrine, which Tokiyuki’s group was scouting, had already been raided. Only the children survived, but they proved capable of defending the village.
Faced with the imminent invasion of Sawa territory, Tokiyuki sought Fubuki’s help in defending the village.
As the episode concluded, a sinister plot unfolds: Shokan reveals his intention to take control of the Sawa Grand Shrine.
