Hot Wheels Unleashedhas you take control of various Hot Wheels cars, racing around tracks in mundane places like the Kitchen, but because the cars are so small, the furniture looks enormous compared to these tiny objects, and it adds to the nonsense that makes the game so entertaining.

There’s a dedicated following, meaning there’s a significant learning curve if you start playing today. And because winning is based on getting down the driving mechanics, it makes some achievements especially tricky to unlock.
9Box Collector
Requirements -Open a total of 100 Blind Boxes.
Blind Boxes are the easiest way to get new carsand are obtainable through several different methods. The easiest is to buy them from the in-game store for 500 coins per box, although you may also earn them through boss races and City Rumble.
If you’re going for the method of buying them from the store, you’ll be at it for a while, since races will give you coins depending on your placement. You’re looking at at least 100 races before earning this achievement.
8Now Try Online
Requirements -Win a quick race with AI Difficulty set to Hard.
This one isinherently skill-based, so you’ll want to practice with drifting techniques and cutting those corners at the correct time on multiplayer. Once ready, set the AI difficulty to hard in the settings and select a short track you know well.
All you have to do is win the race, and the achievement is yours. You only have to do it once, so it’s perfectly doable, but you will need to put in quite a few hours of practice in the game before getting to this point.
7Keeper Of Secrets
Requirements -Meet the requirements of all nine Secret Events.
Keeper of Secrets can be confusing if you don’t know the prerequisites to complete them, or don’t own the necessary items to meet each requirement. For a few of them, all you need is to win boss races, so you may get four of them just by playing the campaign.

If you’re going for the rest of this achievement, you’ll run into some tricky challenges, such as one of them requiring you to win The Journey Begins race with the Hot Wheels High Bus, which is on the lowest end of the speed scale.
6I Want ‘Em All
Requirements -Unlock all Secret Rarity vehicles.
Secret rare vehiclesaren’t gained through blind boxes, but instead earned when completing challenges in City Rumble. There are five secret vehicles overall that you’ll need for this achievement. The first, called Duck n’ Roll, is for finishing all quick race events in first place, and the second Hi-Po Hauler, is for beating the unleashed time goals for all 32 time attack events.
The third is 442, obtained after unlocking all nine secret event pads, and the fourth is Ramblin’ Wrecker, where you must complete the five boss races. The fifth and final one Volkswagen Beach Bomb you’ll get afterunlocking all the other secret rare vehicles. It’s not too demanding gameplay-wise, but it is time-consuming.
5It’s Over 9000
Requirements -Upgrade the Rarity of 15 Rare vehicles.
There are a few trophies for upgrading vehicles, but this one will take much longer. You first need to have 15 rare vehicles in your possession if you want to upgrade them all simultaneously. Otherwise, you can upgrade them from rare to legendary as you progress.
Each upgrade costs 500 gears, so to make things a little easier, stock up on this resource and dismantle any cars you don’t want to build up this number. This trophy is a long-term goal you can complete in conjunction with a few others.
4King of the city
Requirements -Complete the Unleashed Goal of all the Events.
Every race track has a regular time goal and an unleashed time goal. To earn King of the City, you’ll have to beat each race under the unleashed time goal, many of which are under a minute. To even be in with a shot of doing this, you’ll need a selection of good cars specializing in speed and handling, as well as knowledge of the shortcuts.

You will only be able to complete these unleashed goals if utilizing the shortcuts whenever possible, so you’ll want to keep practicing and grinding until you complete them all.
3Unbridled Luxury
Requirements -Get a total of 100,000 Coins.
In late 2022, Hot Wheels Unleashed was updated to make the grind to 100,000 coins easier, with each race giving you around 500 coins instead of the strikingly little 50. The leap from 50 to 500 coins is vast, but you’ll still be looking at hours of racing before unlocking this achievement.
There are ways to grind this out, but if you want to do it naturally,stick to online matchesand do your best to get in first place. Sell any cars you don’t want and buy Blind Boxes to unlock additional vehicles to sell.
2What do I do with so many?
Requirements -Get a total of 25,000 Gears.
The 25,000 gears over 100,000 coins might seem the more straightforward option, but the gears will likely take you longer to accumulate. You can play City Rumble or scrap unwanted vehicles to gather gears, which gives a fixed amount based on the rarity.
Scrapping rare and upwards ones will provide you with more gears, but you’ll still have a long way to go, no matter which ones you dismantle. If you’re a new player, you can start this process right as you start playing, but for veteran players, there’s a long grind ahead of you.
1Terror of the road
Requirements -Reach the podium in a total of 100 Quick Races.
Reaching the podium requires you to place between third and first in a match, specifically the quick race for this achievement. As with other difficulty-based criteria, the most efficient way to complete this is by improving your handling of the racing mechanics, mainly getting better with drifting and cutting corners whenever the chance arises.
It is unrealistic to place in the top three for every race, but by playing online, there’s always the chance that you’ll get lucky and earn one of the top spots. However, whichever way you look at it, and with so many experienced players who have been here since the beginning, this achievement is gradually ramping up its difficulty.
