Death Strandingtook us all by storm when it first hit digital stores, and it’s no doubt a timeless piece of gaming. However, even though it has some of the most profound storytelling in modern gaming, a standard for Kojima, loads of you out there love nothing more than going 100 percent on any game you start.

We’re going to go through the hardest achievements to unlock in Death Stranding. Don’t worry too much, though, as there are only 63 different goals to complete — surely a piece of cake for you completionists out there.
8Birth Of A Legend
Let’s start with a nice easy one, and go with the Birth of a Legend achievement. Here you’re going to have to deliver 40 Premium Deliveries. They all have to be different Standard Orders, and no, they can’t be any of the Orders for Sam.
Now, this doesn’t seem that bad. However, you’ll have to ensure you complete them to Legend rank, and that’s where you’re going to suffer your first headache. If you want to start racking up toward another achievement, consider playing the game on Hard difficulty to achieve that Legend of Legends rank per each Delivery.
7In Sam We Trust
If you want to rebuild the United Cities of America to its former glory, you will want to help Sam reconnect all the facilities and Prepper Shelters on the map. However, there’s a difference between the Chiral Network and UCA’s Network; The first is the driving force behind your ability to create what you need, and the second is pledging allegiance to the new United Cities of America. We’re interested in the latter.
The places you visit in the storyline aren’t all the facilities in the game, either. There are a total of 39, which is why this is one of the hardest ones to mark as done in the game.
6Trail-Blazer
While playing Death Stranding, you’ll come to know how important it is to upgrade your equipment. But it’s also true that bringing all your PCC structures to the maximum level can be challenging.

To unlock Trail-Blazer, you will need to do this for every one of your structures. Keep in mind that if you upgrade another player’s level two item to level three, that will count towards your achievement. Just don’t worry about the Auto-Pavers.
5Best Beloved
This is one of the most infamous achievements in Death Stranding. It’s not the hardest one per se but instead is one that implies the most grind on your part. To be the Best Beloved, you must bring all the facilities up to level five connection.
It’s a long way across America, and going back and forth can be a hassle. However, if you want to unlock the final achievement, you’ll have to make sure everyone loves Sam.
4Growth Of A Legend
Have no fear, as the true legend of Sam is here. To be the best delivery man across America, you must deliver 80 Premium Standard Orders. Every one of them must be at Legend of Legends rank.
The only way to finish this achievement is by playing in Hard mode. Without that setting, you won’t be able to add this achievement to your collection. Some sound advice is to start the game in Hard mode and save yourself a restart.
3Great Deliverer
Most of the achievements at this stage start to imply a certain level of grind on your part, and you now know this to be a standard. Of course, you’ve completed endless games to 100 percent and did more grinding than any of us, but the Great Deliverer might just put you to the test.

To mark this task as complete, you must reach Grade 60 in every delivery evaluation category — which means you must also reach Grade 60 in Bridge Link.
2Homo Faber
Most achievements in Death Stranding are related in one way or another, and Homo Faber goes hand in hand with the Best Beloved achievement. Why? Because to achieve Homo Faber, you will have to Fabricate every weapon and piece of equipment in the game.
To achieve this, you will need to have reached connection level five with every facility in the game in order to have the proper blueprints. That’s why Best Beloved is Homo Faber’s best friend. Remember that you need to make the items, not own them.
1Fount Of Knowledge
With the possibility of picking up Memory Chips from other players, this wouldn’t be the most complex achievement to tick off. Because Memory Chips are so elusive, though, it does make sense.
You’ll have to restore all the Memory Chips in the game to become the Fount of Knowledge, but to do that; you’ll also have to work on this once the story is done. Because some chips only appear at specific points of the story, this becomes a question of repetition, grind, and generally exceptional attention to detail. Happy hunting!
